Bomtoon is owned by Kidari Studio. The website caters to a largely female readership base, focusing on romance and BL/GL comics and web novels. Kidari Studio also owns the French webtoon publisher Delitoon, which features similar content as Bomtoon. Delitoon operates two sites, in French (under Le Bontoon) and German (under Delitoon B, now merged with Delitoon), that specifically serve up mainly BL comics, with a few romance comics.

Bomtoon's Taiwanese site publishes uncensored versions of manhwa that are censored in Korean. The French site also hosts uncensored comics, and most recently, the Thai language site began publishing uncensored content as well.
