Unique And Hot

Well the story starts off with VERY unexpected twists and turns and reading it made me speechless. xD For good reasons tho. I like how the story focuses on these two characters who are seen as outcasts in their own way. Akiyama is a delinquent loner while Shiba tends to get picked on by other kids. It's really great to see how their relationship develops through the manga.

I also love the fact that the characters are not what you expect them to be. They are such an awkward couple that manage to work together so well. Akiyama is one hell of a dominate uke that i for one adore very much. Shiba is quite the cry baby, but he's extremely loyal and that makes me happy. The art is really messy.. like dude it's all over the place but yoo the sex scenes are super hot. So it's definitely worth reading. And Akiyama's hair is fucking gorgeous.

The way I see this story kind of conforms with the title "Akiyama-kun". I mean the fact that Akiyama is this scary (but beautiful) delinquent, yet secretly he's an uke who likes some totally wimpy loser, and on top of that he's so honest about it, is just fascinating and cute X'D . Actually the seme character reminds me of a lot of wimpy protagonists of shounen and hentai manga, who SOMEHOW still get the hot girl (wtf?), except in this manga he gets the GUY who's totally out of his league... even more wtf? But I like it!!

This is hooooooot! Was not expecting that type of event to unravel, but when it it did, I liked it. ~ And honestly, the fact that they even mentioned a condom put me over the moon. I'm really looking forward to the rest and its sequel. I have my eye on you Nobara Aiko.

Sometimes when reading the comments I wonder whenever I read the same story. I suppose it's fine because everyone is different and all. But I just wanted to note that this is NOT a story about two boys meeting each other and getting it on, if you are looking for that type of story there are plenty elsewhere. This is a story about a certain event and how this event affected the ones participating and witnessing it. In of yaoi, where 9 out of 10 stories are about boy meeting boy and how they fall in love, this is fucking brilliant and a breeze of fresh air.

There was too much snot, WAY too much crying during sex for my tastes. Someone starts crying in the middle of things, and I'm alarmed.

The writing and art wasn't good enough to balance out what I didn't like about the story, though both were above average. I thought it ended to abruptly, not much happened, and too much time was spent on Sano the friend.

Cute idea (with the tough delinquent guy who'd rather be fucked than fuck), but it could have been better. I WISH I'd loved it - it ticks several boxes on my favorite things list (tough ukes, tall ukes, less stereotyping of the couple, nice seme, at least a mention of condoms, and starting with sex before romance). Bizarrely, I didn't love it. It's quite irritating.

After reading the description, I expected some bullying with hidden ion ^^. But there is no real bullying, nobody is beaten up, the story and characters seems unbelievable.
Maybe, I just don't like wimpy lustful people like Shiba... not cute at all imho. The only excuse is that he is still very young (and maybe mangaka will show us his other more intelligent sides in the next chapters). Akiyama-kun seems nice but, as for now I suppose, he would look for another partner after realizing and tasting his own preferences).
Nevertheless, the art is great.
