I couldn't stand it. . but!
I was so curious how this crap might ended so.. I just skipped page after page.
— I hate her second boyfriend with all my heart, he's just a bloody jerk an stupid asshole. okay I'm done.
I hate it when he appeared in the last chapter. He being happy with that bitch (the coworker) I mean he cheated on his girlfriend with that slut and now is happy with the other and he even called at her as his "destined person" are you bloody kidding me?
He doesn't deserve to be happy at all.
—The heroine sucks she's a crybaby. annoying.
—About the last chapter.. I like it very much actually.

ok ok first off this is a SHOUJO so idk why so many ppl were surprised the heroine was crap and why it was so love and "i need a man!" oriented..

second off, i actually LIKED the ending surprisingly since i was convinced i was gonna be pissed off with who she ended up with

This is my first ever review. I had a mixed feeling for this manga: somehow love and hate. I think the way the mangaka portrayed the heroine's first love is really close to reality. It was painful for me when reading the way they broke up and she still had feeling for him. But what I don't like about this is also the way she behaves.

The one that I felt terrible for is Mirai. He is a good guy and the heroine decided to make him suffer like this. I ended up cursing though. So frustrated

At the end, that first love ended up with the girl he kissed. I hate that. They don't deserve this. Mirai and Fuyu (the later guy) are good and they deserve better than this. That bastard don't deserve love :/

Starts out interesting with some dopey and dramatized but realistic depictions of high school love but as it goes on just loses steam and the quality goes down as things go on. The heroine becomes not just high school/shoujo stupid but plain stupid and from about chapter 50 on things just become intolerable.

So yeah, as a lot of reviews will say, or at least imply, Mairunovich just a "typical shoujo" with good art. And by typical, I mean an insufferable heroine and tons of needless, unproductive drama. Mairu is this incorrigible, low-esteemed crybaby that believes (at least as the manga depicts) having a boyfriend is a necessity of life. At first she's kind of endearing and funny but her indecisiveness and over-the-top naivety gets tiresome very quickly.

Again, like many other shoujo, the manga attempts to portray the heroine as this disputably loveable and endearing character, which Mairu, as I mentioned before, quickly ceases to be.

She is constantly making these new romantic relationships with men to which she is neither fully committed or interested. It is actually kind of awful the way the mangaka turns all these male interests into "benevolent" beings that must understand Mairu's overwhelming thickheadedness.

But the heroine is not my only problem. I also think the setting is overly simplified. So Mairu becoming beautiful mitigates her situation so much that even her brother comes to put aside his disdain for her. All the characters in this manga (except Tennyu) essentially notice and help Mairu when they see her in her "pretty form." So do they even deserve to be portrayed so amicably?

The ending was also abrupt and unsatisfactory considering that

Tennyu-kun rejects Mairu for some unknown reason before all of a sudden inexplicably realizing his feelings and breaking up Mairu's latest budding relationship. And this Mairu accepts with no complaints.

Well, this just my personal opinion. Perhaps I've read too much shoujo because I found this manga plainly bland and disappointing in spite of its lovely artwork. It's a solid read but nothing great.

What made me stick with this manga was the fact that it exactly portrayed reality as I experienced it. My first love was like Narutarou, except the cheating part. While he acted mature to the 'general public', he also had childish aspects to him (unreasonable jealousy, possessive nature...). My point is that this manga is worth a read because it portrays unexpectedly round characters. At times the plot can include what I call 'worst case scenarios' but then again it feels more like a warning message to the readers.

The manga seems to be satirizing different types of couples as well, so all the more reason to read it. Makes you to think twice before engaging yourself in a relationship with someone you've just got to know.

My only prob with the manga is probably Mairu's previous tendency to idolize a certain male character... You'll know who it is once you read it.

ok. First I want to clarify that I read all the chapters of this manga. I disappointed a lot. the main character is uninteresting, while funny, Mairu always remains in the mold, boring, repetitive and lacking in character.
the only thing that matters is to get a boyfriend or talking about finding love. But very little is in romantic situations, if funny, but leave the main character as a silly, boring self. thats why my rate is six (and I was nice)

Kumada tenyuu, the male character. has an interesting history, nothing out of the ordinary in this type of manga.
There is another character that even translations not listed yet but it is very interesting and even as important as tenyuu. (I fell in love with this character)

the story is like any other, starts well but ends meh ...

Art is where you end up buying this manga and is undoubtedly a resounding 10.

i picked this manga because the art. Yeah, it's true that i'm hoping something good with it. You know, the resume was typical but i love this kind of story, though! but, what on earth with the female lead 😕 well, it is not wrong if you wanna change yourself for the better look, and trying to get of love. But, how dense you are, don't even think about someone who really close to you!! Hey!!! he's right beside you!! and he always keep cheer you up. yet, you always try to find another love when you got break up!! oh, thanks!! To think that i'll continue read this stupid story,, bleh!! i dropped it off!!!

It really isn't, so long as you're a seasoned shoujo-reader like I am. This author always starts out with a promising story. How she chooses to execute it is where the problem lies.

Of the four guys who are potential love interests for Mairu, I can honestly say I like Tenyuu over the others. Nanase is still a bit new, so I'm not sure what to think of him, but the thought of her dating a mature adult in comparison to her insecure ex has me excited in more ways than one.

The art is nice, so everyone is pretty easy on the eyes. The problem is the story and the pacing. I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks she fell in love too fast, but hey, it's a shoujo.

If you're looking for a good story with characters and development, I would avoid this. But if you're like me and find stories like these to be guilty pleasures, no matter how ridiculous the circumstances, then I would give it a go.

I'm pretty new reader of this but I’ve finished until chapter 53. I saw the art was good and yup, it didn’t disappoint me at all. The bad thing is that the plot. The main character, Mairu was not all that bad. Though, she can be really annoying (like how she was so dependent, crybaby and freaking immature). Trust me, if I’m in the manga, I’ll definitely bully her freaking badly. But, some side of her makes me wanted to forgive her so its fine.
I decided to drop this. Because, it’s kinda draggy and it’s getting nowhere. It’s just too much, I feel like the author just wanna drag this story as long as possible without proper planning… I don’t know where exactly the main character heading to or how long is this love cycle gonna continue. So damn indecisive for a main character!! Too much of love just turning her into a cheap and pathetic girl... I thought I can bear with this manga because of Kumada Tenyuu but URGH! Where’s the freaking development!!??
Mairu dear, if only you be more like Kujou Mikoto, focus some more on friends (not only love!!) …
God… I’m done with this…
