It seems that the plot is too much for an adult to read. Kids might apprentice this kind of story. Wholesome? Oh no, please that's a wrong path of the story. It's childish, too childish that characters have their brains on their feet. Common sense is not sensing any longer, no logic nor understanding of the place. It's hard to make it understandable possible unfortunately. It's not that terrible, but it's too much of a headache to read something that too childish for you. Since I've already read numerous manhwas and mangas with this kind of similar plot my "give it a benefit of the doubt" is not working anymore, recommendations were also scams and reading similar are really disappointing much for a decade reader. It's too boring and repetitive.

Healing Type Manhwa

This is a strong healing type manhwa (MC and everyone else heals emotional scars) with several petty cannon fodder villains (although some are slightly interesting). The story is generic in most places, but it critically excels in one place leaving me to cry diamond tears of happiness.

(*) The main cast of good characters are quite dynamic, and I like all of them for once. My enjoyment of the story all comes down to me being pleasantly surprised by the main characters and how they are different from other manhwa of this type. I'm having a hard time describing the author's execution of the characters. Most people know what a normal hammer looks like and it should be good for hammering nails, but I've been sold 100 exotic hammers that are good at other things. Finally, this author sold me the epitome of normal hammers that hammer nails, and suddenly I am like, "Oh my gosh! This is totally what a hammer should be!" Excellent archetypal character execution. Sure is some good vanilla ice cream that I haven't had in a long time, made with high quality ingredients with a slice of $5 apple pie from the store. The real ichiban noodles and not a dubious dollar store knockoff.

(*) The FL protagonist is a kind-hearted heroine type. In most manhwa, the kind-hearted type does not fully please me. They are either too airheaded and naive, or they are too conditional and extreme (I'll be nice if people are nice to me. The people who abused me will vanish from the face of the Earth.) This time, the FL protag finally managed to slam dunk what I would consider a real kind-hearted type without being an idiot or being extreme. So impressive to finally see this character archetype done this way.

(*) The other character archetype that this story excelled at was the traumatized angel we all want to protect. Once again, the author has somehow been able to stay completely true to the archetype and pull it off without doing anything exotic and flashy just to grab my attention. Instead of being the main focus, or being some traumatized girl who turns into a revenge seeking villain, she is just a traumatized girl. However, she is a BROKEN ANGEL WE MUST LOVE AND PROTECT, but she is not the center of the story. Things are so different when this type of character is such a major part of everything, but she is not the center of the story and not everything goes well for her.

(*) ML, the prince/loveless duke archetype. So reasonable and yet still good. All the duke type stories always make them have goofball levels of twisted pasts, revenge plans, and hatred. This duke is just so reasonable and he has some outstanding moments where I am like, "This is so realistic and legit! I've actually been there and done that! This is a person, not a character."

Just one glaring annoyance

If it wasn't for the author over-milking the MC keeping up the belief that the ML is the protagonist's prince, this would be a much more enjoyable story. The way it handles a child character with long-term trauma is wonderful and the chemistry between the ML and MC and the MC and her sister is top tier.

But everyone is sick and tired of the MC's stubbornness in believing that her sister must end up with the ML because "he is her prince in the original story" (esp when anyone with eyes can tell who the original prince is supposed to be). The author seriously needs to stop bringing up this plotline every other chapter or resolve it soon because it is annoying as heck!
