Well that started with a bang, Seojin had a wet dream about these two dudes, met one of them in an alley, took him home and fucked him while he was injured and delirious, then started berating himself like I've never seen. 😂
This is a 'seme-like uke and uke-like seme' couple. The anatomy was wonky sometimes but overall not bad, especially for the princes and Helios, so pretty!
All spoilers -->
What I liked:
-The soulbond, I'd like to read more that have that
-Seojin's struggle with his identity and the twisted feelings
-An uke who was open with his sexuality and pleasure
-Showing how fucked up the aristocracy is by having Harold go so far to kill his own lover out of loyalty
What bothered me/I questioned:
-How can Harold be utterly clueless about the marks on his body or come in his ass?? Like it's mentioned in ing that he knew what was happening but at least show him looking at the marks in the mirror.
-What was the point of the drug?? The aphrodisiac was supposedly a side-effect but what was the main effect supposed to be? Just the hallucinations?
-Harold didn't tell Seojin the truth which led to him suffering a great deal more
-What happened to the twins' mom?? Did she poison herself?
-Did Bisrook try to kill Feri? I suppose Feri's subordinate saved him and that's why he was burned so bad? Also how fucked up do you have to be to pit twin siblings against each other for the throne, they both had traits that would go so well together but they constantly drove wedges between them.
-Who were Feri's subordinates? The 'old hag' said she knew Helio and Harold since they were young.
I'm curious if Harold's brother and the first prince were ever a thing. Also bittersweet that Feri and his commander seemed to have something real beneath the twistedness. I suppose they'll be executed after a public trial.
I don't know how I feel about Seojin's friends, like they were rightfully protective but the whole breach of privacy was too much, plus the unrequited love from the one friend and jealousy it caused.
Oh, and you're literally not considered a person without paperwork, what if Harold gets sick or in an accident, or they want to marry, etc?
