Description

it wasn't the best but not the worst, it was slow but entertaining reading BUT they suddenly rushed everything and the "end?" wasn't even proper ending, i hope this one get a sequel otherwise this author is doomed.

yeah it wont get a sequel this was a another solo leveling stuff that didn't went good, even though i hate this axing shit

Kinda Disappointing

So i go into most mangas or manhwa with optimism, willing to read quite a bit of them before i do my decision. With this one, i felt it had a ok beginning, nothing new or revolutionary. So i continued reading it, hoping for improvements in story, worldbuilding, characters. Yet it didn't deliver. I did finish it, but that was more of a seeing it through the end type deal rather than enjoyment.

So to start it off.
Characters, I felt they had a decent introduction and good potential but failed to deliver anything substantial or interesting. To me they don't feel real most of the time unfortunately and their choices makes no sense.

Plot. Sometimes i felt lost with the plot and the rushed ending before cancellation(?) did not help. It was a simple plot, defeat dungeons or bad stuff happens. yet it never felt pressing or dangerous, no character faced extreme hardships with risks that felt like risks. Not even big bad guys felt threatening.

Artstyle leaves a decent amount to be desired, and for some reason it felt like it got worse later down the line? like fight scenes and even characters became more boring.

You get an intro in chapter 1 which is 2 characters fighting in a dungeon, no more info is given except these 2 have a master and the master is that main character... that's it, in chapter 2 the main character is at home whining about being stuck at home and his appartment door leading to a dungeon ir something which he has to clear in a certain time fesme. What is happening? We don't know, it's never explained to us why this is happening, it just is what it is... apparently this is happening to other people as well but again no more information is given, we dont even know anything about the main character other than hes stuck and noone wants to help him... This is what the manga is like all through out the first 5 chapters, very little world building aka minimal information about the world and events happening, its very bad, so bad that I struggle to get past chapter 5. It just throws us in without establishing anything about anything.

Reasons for me not having high hopes for the comic:
-the artist is clearly afraid of drawing action scenes. (a lot of them was just simply skipped… This is an action comic… How exactly do you want to make it good without at least trying to learn how to draw action)
-very mediocre storytelling; no sign of worldbuilding, proper character development, nothing unique that would reel me in.
-characters feel shallow/2D (while it might be too early to tell, I would be very surprised if the characters didn’t end up following the standard tropes later on)

Shortly: not good rn; I don’t think it’ll get better later on.
