Too many twist plot

There were so many twist plots that which were almost same that it started feeling repetetive and I think even before midway someone didnt know at what direction plot should go. Twists intruduced so much confusion that it was very hard to read at the end.

This is just another one that you can easy say:
"How we got to this point?"
The afterword of the Author is a confession about how he "missed the point" and how he felt about the readers reactions, to me that was like a "Sorry, but thanks for reading until the end."
11 Years is really a long time to invest in a single job, this author tried, failed hard and tried to repair his lost way, sadly too late.
I can fell empathy for this Author, even if I feel that can't recomend this Story, at least he tried until the end and confessed his fault.
We can see others authors who don't care about who is reading, don't care about time or just finish without at least try a better ending or feel sorry (the readers).
6/10 for the Story and 9/10 for the Author for giving at least a better example about how this relation is important for both.

Artwork is some of the worst I've ever seen. MC is an obnoxious idiot. There is zero buildup for any of the fights. Where is the suspense? I don't think I've ever read a more shallow battle story before.

This is a good manga but I'm only going to write why I won't recommend it,so this is for someone trying to decide whether to start 'God of Highschool' ,if u like & dislike the same things as me u can make a decision by the end of my comment ....

so,If you complete this manga u won't feel any regret for reading it but if have read some other good manga by now u will find that GoH lacks 1)LOGIC (I know every fantasy action lacks logic bit in GOH the characters who are seen engaging in a fight with martial arts suddenly use godly powers which is ok but in later chapters the godly powers, regeneration,back from dead are 'free real-estate' i.e no explanation-coz we can't understand when/who is capable of using these powers & when/why they can't use them), 2)Consistency and 3)Solid backstory development of characters & their capabilities.

Also except for the main characters you will find some characters (who greatly influence the storyline or very powerful) suddenly pop-up in the story & never appear again. And the repetitive cycle/story/plot is another minus & u can guess exactly how's the climax going to be but still have to read the last 270(2....7....0..) chapters (stretched but good enough to skim over once...i liked them) just for the sake of completion, or if u don't want to waste your time directly skip to climax chapter(562) probably after chp-(305/306).

So I'm reading this for a long time, my rule for reviewing is don't review until you read it all and boy it finishes and I'm finished with it.

The first half of the manhwa is simple and easy to follow through, the art is great and makes great use of the line the is drawn. The second is where it gets dicey plot well you either like or hate and a lot of power creep done in a nice way that doesn't feel wrong, there are a lot of good and bad about the manwha but I often like to some of the scenes because it was fun for me at the now and still is now for me.

This webtoon finished on Dec 8, 2022 on English Webtoons (around October in Korea?), so any comments made before this timeline (with no edits) with low ratings mean they didn't read the entirety of GOHS. What a shame 😌.

This webtoon is an epic that took 11 years to finish. The entire storyline from start to finish is a beautiful masterpiece. The author himself says it was imperfect, but it's as perfect as it can be. Personally I really loved season 1-3 too, but you have to take into 4-6 to get the culmination of all the plot points together!

Having said that... I came right after reading the last bit of season 6, so lemme put in my comments and thoughts on how it ended. 🤣

Mira and Daewi are 51 at this point, and they're having a child? LOL I really didn't like that idea, but at the same time I'm glad Mira finally got that seed she wanted ( her original purpose for ing the GOH tournament?!).

I am so peeved at the translation for that Mori and Ahan moment. There is supposed to be NO ROMANCE. The original translation was something along the lines of, "You're my most important / favourite person". It's sibling love! Good god.

I REALLY loved the multi-universe Jaecheondaeseongs coming together (ep 554+). Wish we had more insight into each one of them, but it ended so quickly.

Having read this nonstop (since it's becoming Daily soon, ugh...), there were many times where the plot dragged and felt repetitive. Case in point: weak Mori in the new world who was once again facing "fear" for some reason and was getting so beat up (and it wasn't explained how Mori and Mujin even got there after their epic battle...), the overused theme of "do whatever you want" in season 6, and not to mention the death and revival of EVERYBODY by a ridiculous MIRACLE BABY (deus ex machina, seriously?!). The origins for Taejin Park wasn't well explained, which doesn't sit well with me.

But still, the joy I got from reading this series trumps over whatever minor grievances I have. It's well worth a 10 alone based on the amount of hard work and effort that was poured into this story.

This story is actually fairly well written despite most people saying GOH stopped being good after the first or fifth season subjectively however I digress as the story got much better in the final season. The only main issue I have is that it drags on certain plot points which makes the story feel dull at times especially when it focuses on characters or events that aren't that interesting

It's kinda draggy that i dropped when the mc bcm god(?)
Still no freakin idea how a normal taekwondo, judo, karate, etc became fights between gods.
Well yeah the title says GOD of high school, but i enjoyed this mnhwa a lot when everything is normal

I find it amusing how readers wanted plot twist so badly, finding the story "boring and too mainstream" when MC was OP and now that they got what they asked for - weakened main characters and live threatening situations, they find it boring again because of the confusion in their own heads.
The Manhwa is epic, and if you don't understand why, then reread it all over again. I find it surprising that so many people are surprised that a story's plot evolved from what it once was...because no story's plot has ever changed...right?
this is FICTION and this is ENTERTAINMENT. Oh AND ITS FREE with weekly updates.
