Quote from Ascension x6j3t

I loved Ichigo 100%, and i was expecting Manaka to end up with Toujo Aya, but i was rooting for Tsukasa.... The ending that the author chose is honestly the best ending i can see... It's really one of the few mangas that i actually think ended perfectly.

A perfect ending always has a wedding involved! Haha ~

  1. Not all bibles are made of tissue paper. Mine (Hebrew/English old testament) are made of decent, sometimes heavy, paper-I've got prayer books that are a bit over 15 years old and have done quite a bit of traveling and they're still holding up quite decently.

The answer is pretty clear cut for me given that I only shoujo and josei, so if there so happens to be some type of love triangle where the heroine ends up picking the wrong guy, I quite simply drop it. Not that that happens often in shoujo anyway, because it's usually obvious who the love interest is supposed to be - even in reverse harems. I guess this question is more directed to people who read shonen where romance is often secondary. I don't see the point of continuing to read a shoujo if the character you're rooting for loses out since there's really not much else of a story outside the romance.

I chose "I don't read any romance." Which isn't true, but (comparatively) I don't read much. Or at least, not the ones where there's a harem, and there's actually a choice of pairings.

If there were an option of "I don't ship couples" then I would have picked it.

4th option: bash the series

... and the author while I'm at it

... not forget to rate it 1 in mangaupdates

About 70% of the series I've read so far have had pairings I didn't really agree with (ex. Ichigo 100%) but, I still finish them. I it greatly annoyed but it's the way it is.

Well, with most of the manga I read it's pretty much obvious who the main pairing's going to be, so it isn't that much of an issue. But there have been two cases I can where the author's choice really pissed me off. (When a man loves a man by Youka Nitta.) I was so mad afterwards that I couldn't sleep - I had spent most of the day reading the series and I just couldn't believe it ended the way it did. Even though it was the obvious choice, the final relationship felt unhealthy and abusive to me. So the next time I encountered something similar, I stopped, and I think I will continue doing so in the future. Mostly, I read manga for entertainment, and when I'm pissed off, I'm most definitely not entertained.

The worst pairing ever would be Hayate and Nagi. I wanted Hinagiku to be paired with Hayate. Nagi is a lame child who is also a boring tsundere. Also Yoichi should've been paired with Ayame. Man it pissed me off!
