Quote from Binturong p5k28

Yesterday i read Everlost, and it was pretty awesome! i feel a bit silly for being 23 and still liking young adult novels, but whateva'!!
D;

I still read kids/teen novels; I just finished The Invention of Hugo Cabret.
It was a very good picture book ^^

The last time I sat down with a book was about half an hour or so ago (a Lovecraft anthology, for the record)

This afternoon. Saints and Strangers, for school. Apart from that, I was rereading Small Gods by Terry Pratchett a couple days ago. Not as much fun as the Vimes books, but still very good.

I'm doing a lot of reading for school, I'm kinda trying to avoid the last 100 pages of The Tin Flute right now. After that I've got to read Obaasan and Jade Peony...I don't think I've read because I wanted to in a while though...

Currently reading Failed States by Noam Chomsky and History of the US by Howard Zinn.

Halfway through Don Quixote..but I've been picking that up off and on over the last 6 months, should eventually finish it.

I'm always reading something. I don't read as much as when I was younger and would devour the latest Stephen King book in 2 days, but I do get around. I used to be more of a bibliophile, but these days anything with a story perks my interest, so many facets take up my time (Fabulaphile is as close a word as I found for what I am currently...a person obsessed with stories...but it seems like it's wrong...).

Now I'm reading Thus Spoke Zarathustra by Friedrich Nietzsche (in English, can't read German). So far I've read five books this year. And I ordered some new books just awhile ago:

Gogo no Eikou by Mishima Yukio
Castle of Days by Gene Wolfe
Dune by Frank Herbert (trying to read some American SF classics)
Martian Chronicles by Ray Bradbury
And maybe something by * Cordwainer Smith* (not really sure).

Mostly I read science fiction (most other fiction I read is Japanese or some classics from all over the world), philosophy and also some poetry and drama, psychology, and science — more or less philosophical.

I've always liked books, but I've only started reading them regularly less than two years ago.

I am so lazy for any thick novel these days. Only read some text books for my degree's sake.
I usually buy hard-copy mangas. Does that count? 😀
The latest manga I buy and read is "All my darling daughters" of Yoshinaga Fumi
It was just released on Jan 2010 and according to MU there is no free scanlation only for this manga.
This is a good read. Give it a try if u have time. 😎

Just finished reading Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer yesterday. I don't actually like her writing style and the story was ok. I only read it because I was curious how it would end. But I did like the romance (and Edward). =D

Just a minute ago "Stalin" by Edward Radzinski, after that I think I will take on "The Master and Margarita" by Bulgakov.

Agreed.

Shrinking Violet - Danielle Joseph, it was ok, main character is too shy imo, it was just an average YA romance. - 2 days ago.

Finished this in a day, don't know how many hours, i don't time myself o.O

Right now I'm reading the Chibi Vampire (a.k.a. Karin) Light Novels, and just a few days ago finally the Spice and Wolf Novel arrived.
The last "real" books I read were Sergej Lukianenko's Watch books (not sure about the english titles...) maybe two weeks ago.

I read a book called "The Happiness Hypothesis" by Jonathan Haidt. One of the most interesting books I've read, I finished it like 3 months ago. The last thing I've read that is anything like a book was the steam tables I use for my exams.
