people who cosplays are either have confidence in their looks and ability to act. so i say im into coslays... its like theater or a play.

I don't cosplay as characters but my friends do force me into wearing some pretty funky outfits. My friend even bought this american flag dress of ebay that she is planning on wearing to class next semester. so I imagine that I will have to do something similar, that's how it normally works out anyways.....

maybe if I dress silly enough at school I will be able to cosplay as a character at a con eventually. I hope so anyways.

One day, I'd like to cosplay as any of the different species of Power Ranger enemy footsoldiers. Love the sounds they make, and the uniformity is exquisite. Now I only need make my body slender in order to fit into the spandex 😢

Didn't read all the replies (too lazy), but what's with this general negative attitude towards cosplay? Well, maybe more like unwillingness to try cosplay. If you don't try it, you'll never know (it's actually pretty fun).

Think of all those poor saps who are unwilling to try anime and manga because they don't want to read "comic books" and watch "cartoons".

I only will Cosplay during Halloween for now.
