Yes, their is a memorial site on facebook for the girl. I read what they done to her. I can't even imagine that somebody does something like this, and they are still alive after that. 295sy

...but one thing i never could finish. i guess i stopped at page 30 or so. because it was soo insanely cruel and hard to take was High School Girl in Concrete by uziga waita. i guess i have a pretty good idea why this is not on MU.

I'd heard of it, but could never bring myself to read it. It was based on true events, and I all the media buzz surrounding it when I was a kid. I could never bring myself to read Uziga's illustrated version of it.

Never read it, but now that I think about it, it does freak me out big time.

isn´t it part of the Shin Gendai Ryoukiden short story colleftion?
it was mentioned on this page

Franken Fran

It wasn't the worst thing ever but I found some of the art to be a bit... disturbing.
But it's not like it scarred me or anything.

Bradherley no basha - If you managed to read through it and aren't scarred and disturbed, then there is something humanely wrong with you...

me too!! was still in high school then and didn't really care about genres. i read this manga without knowing. it was really disturbing. ugh! i stopped reading and became always wary of the genres.
well, now i'm kinda used reading ecchi stuff. i read some light yaoi too. 😳 but if ever i encounter that manga again, i think i'll feel the same as before.

Love monster...the level of idiocy is overwhelming!
Hot blooded woman...A shoujo bishie threw the main girl off a building, infront of a truck, beat her senselessly, ...sent a group of thugs to rape her.. I wonder how this manwha is popular?

🤣 That's true. All the guys in Hot blooded woman like to bully and hit girls violently. Maybe that's what make it different than the other shoujo. 🤣 And anyway, I like the switch-the-soul part 😉

Can't the names of mangas right now. Though Elfen Lied creeped me out a tad, I stopped reading halfway through the series.

The one work of fiction that really affected me was a novel series the name of which I happily forgot. It involved everything that something meant for children shouldn't.
Edit - Found it - someone recommended it in Medieval Dark Fantasy. The Black Jewels Trilogy.

Anyone mentioned The Enigma of Amigara Fault? I don't read horror manga much and I only read this one since I'd seen it mentioned on TVTropes for being "high octane nightmare fuel". Naturally, I was pretty scarred... the premise can easily come across as completely ridiculous but just thinking about it makes me shudder...

There are also some really gruesome deaths in 7Seeds which I don't think I'll ever be able to erase from my memory.

And this is an anime but Grave of the Fireflies... the first time you see their mother after the air raid. I cried from then until about an hour after the end of the movie. I bought the DVD because it's a great film, but I'm so scarred I can't bring myself to watch it again.

Monster

it gave me a scare as it can come true in this life, most serial killers are after all mental patients, but if genius mental patients go on a rampage, this story will most likely come true.

Elfen lied

it showed me how cruel a persons mind can go, and it was definitely disturbing.
