A side story would be nice, especially after since the last chapter, albeit a resolution, was kind of anticlimactic. I wouldn't recommend making a sequel, though, since there are more chances that the story might go downhill.

What the hell...I don't know if this is due to some reason outside of Kekkaishi [like stress from exams or something] but ever since around the chapter that Yoshimori's mum's shikigami came to their house [about 70 chapters ago] I haven't been enjoying the series as much. And now it's ended and I feel vexation coupled with the typical post-series blues. GRARH! >:-(

I can't believe my brother gave this series around a 9/10. I doubt I'll re-read a series that's this long just to see if i under-appreciated it, maybe I'll watch the anime after a couple of years.

It did feel incomplete.

Does anyone feel sorry for the dad? I'd say he suffered the most.
