Don't see any reason to change the name, it's still Eyeshield 21. The series started out going after the tournaments, then the christmas bowl, but doesn't require the christmas bowl to be there for the series to keep going. There are no time skips, they didn't go to a new dimension, nor did they pick up magic and summoning monsters from cards while racing on motorcycles. Eyeshield 21 is still there, and quite frankly will fit the series well enough for another good while.
It's not some stupid change like School rumble --> School rumble Z...I lost interest in the series when it went Z, just not as good as regular school rumble.

I think we can come to right if we say ES21 won't stop for quite a while.
The new arc, Youth WC, will take some time. So about 2 years for the whole YWC arc? Maybe a a little shorter, but it is kinda like a new start, because even if this will be an all japanese star team, they still need some practice in playing together.
Let's hope it doesn't get as ridiculous as PoT did.

well it doesn't have to be something so simple as that in of the title, if they were to make a title change to kick start it off as a new series, they could use the team's name as the title. after all ES21, Tsuna has been established as ES21.

I don't see it ending any time soon and I'm happy with it. 🙂
Now that the Christmas Bowl is over with, now it's the Youth World Cup.

Personally I'm a bit dissapointed on how the plot is heading towards Youth World cup..
This whole ES21 manga REVOLVES around Deimon's dream to WIN the Christmas Bowl. Everyone worked so hard...and some liek Hiruma suffered a lot.
And YET, when they won the Christmas Bowl, I haven't seen much "Z0mgdreamscomeTrueMoments" on each players. Instead, it's just Sena's..
...and a few chapters after that, Hiruma suddenly disguise as random ppl and became interested in this..."WORLD CUP"..
This is getting draggish..and what's the point of this Manga if the plot's not revolve around Deimon but around "Team JAPAN".. 😕
