I don't know the ending but thank God someone took off "tragedy" from Masca's genre tag. I was sad to think every time I read it that the story will have a sad ending. And maybe someone will die (possibly: whoever that Rell's choose at the end). 5x6j4v
I really wish Rell will end up with the demon lord. I've loved them together since the beginning. Never like the teacher that much. Maybe because I think it's wrong to marry someone whom you raised from they were young?
But I've read teacher-student, guardian/benefactor type of story before.... so hm... maybe I'm just fond of the demon lord?
ps: I love the extra story that takes place after Rell-demon lord got married <3 I love you Kainen xoxo

Uhh... as far as I know,
Rell wont end up with Kainen,
The Demon Lord lost his mind and dying(?)

It is a tragedy and
Kaien will die in the end because of his love for Rel. I'm not 100% sure because I didn't read the translations form the last volume yet, but I think Rel will have his baby, but the child won't be used for those who seek Kaien's powers
So the ending is sad with a little hope for happiness.
And there are 2 bonus volumes after. not sure what those 2 contain, but Evil Flowers will release those as well.
Maybe it's a prequel. Hopes for it ^^.

Nop, he does not appear in the prequel either, but he'll probably be in the sequel. He looked like an important character.

The ending is too sad!! I put it off for a long time, not wanting to see the tragic ending but last night I read it...
so what's the meaning behind Rell travelling after all the incidents? How is it possible that Gatmiel still alives after his heart was taken out?

Yes. Truly, the mangaka saved the masked guy to the end of the series for his major role. Of course, it is hard to accept that he looks the same as his evil contractor. Are they twins or share the same environmental/biological development at any time because they sure are very different characters.
