lmao, hardcore games are only as hardcore as you make them - but I'd recommend Audition Online, Maplestory, Vindictus, Archeage, and Tera Online. j683l

Audition Online - more of a music game, I recommend this for casual players though since you don't really need to put much effort here.

Maplestory - cute little mmorpg with chibis; again, good for casual players ... Adventure with your friends.

Vindictus - dungeon-based and somewhat hardcore ... It's pretty fun though

Archeage - new mmorpg that's currently out; you can farm, be a merchant, pirate, etc. You don't need to spend your days killing and grinding either ... I tried out beta with my friends and we all had a lot of fun.

Tera Online - currently what I'm playing now ... I recommend this for 5 people to play together though ... Mostly because most parties in this game require 5 players to fill in a certain role: 1 tank, 1 healer, and 3 dps. It's great for friends.

I recommend

  • Runescape
An mmorpg that is playable on just a browser, it can also be limit the graphics settings to minimal so it should be playable on low spec computers.

  • Command & Conquer: Tiberium
This is an strategy game which is pretty nice if you want to play with friends or so, forces with each other to conquer areas together, but its like daily grinding afterwards.

Have you tried Seal Online Eternal Destiny? It's a game that would be my all-time favorite. I think the features are really good. I've played it for like, 4 years or more, haha.

They only non- ones I can think of right now are Evony and the mini MMO in Gaia. There's a few more, but dunno the English names. Doubt your friends would want games covered in gibberish.

That said, how about Mabinogi? I jump between quite a few MMOs, but Mabinogi's the only one I keep coming back to. It's easy on the eyes to say the least, if that's what you mean by "hardcore".

I would second LoL, but yea, it's a fair size . I dunno the spec requirements though, as far as I know, my bro's been playing it for a few years now and I have heard no news of them getting a new computer. Then again, if that game isn't hardcore, I dunno what is.

Oh and, how about Minecraft? It's unexpectedly addictive, and quick . No, it's not free, but there are free versions out there... Like the one my bro ed. Simply put, pirated versions.
