I used to be a big fan, but the series is decaying bit by bit, every chapter is less about being a mangaka and more about cheesy and kinda weird relationships, but at least it's more appealing that retard note for me 1093t

My only draw back was the amount of text. Besides that, this is one of my top favorite shounen manga. =3

you know... that trap thing is actually kinda creative and a good story.... along with money and intelligence...
i wonder if they plan on making a "short story" or a "one shot" of these stories, considering, its the type of story i would read from just reviewing the storyline... that would be awesome

Nope. It's cool to read. Sometimes to literally but good though. The Drawings are very good. Often. Not always. But their editor should tell them that the story is very stiff. a bit too stylish and designed. I miss something special. I could say that REC with the idea of the salaryman and the voice actress is much better! Don't know why, it's just the feeling i get when i read it.
Hope they could end it good. Death Note was after vol.7 a pity

its my favourite series that is currently sunning in weekly jump (which is a bold statement because I also really love D.Gray-Man).

actually me and my buddy were just talking aobut that a few days ago 😀
we'd love to see a one shot of Detective Trap, along with a colour image of the tankouban cover 😀
My Top manga:
- Yu-Gi-Oh!
- Death Note
- Fullmetal Alchemist
- Bakuman.
- Love Hina
Nah I didn't enjoy it at all. Plot didn't capture my interest.

I love this manga. It shows how hard a mangaka has to work and the little romance between Azuki and Mashiro keeps me more intrested as I want them to fulfill their dreams and get married. I want to know if Mashiro will succeed where his uncle failed

well, when i read this manga the first time, i was shock to see a manga about a life of a mangaka. so i was hook with it. though there were a lot of explanations, but it helps since the world of manga and mangaka is somewhat complex.
just a little disappointed with what others says saying that just because of death note that's why bakuman hit the shelf... when bakuman catch my attention, that was last november 2008, i didn't know that the mangaka is the creator of death note not until last april of this year, yet bakuman was already one of the best for me.

I tried it, I was able to read the first 20 chapters or so. It caught my interest at first, but then I just couldn't keep reading it. I'm more of an 'action' person I guess, so the plot didn't hook me. It wasn't bad though

well, people would understand your point, since bakuman is not a battle oriented manga.. its more on slice of life/romance type of manga.

its kind of interesting. ive always wondered how people draw manga and their lives after reading "to fall in love like a comic(?)". i wouldnt say that it is incredibly good though
it would be kinda cool to see an actual serialized version of Trap
The river of life is magnificent and dangerous.

Its one of my favorites.. I'm anxious for its new release more than any of the other weekly jump titles.
