I'm looking for manga similar to any of the following, all of which have elements of dark atmosphere, strangeness, and regular life. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! 235m71

himizu
tekkon kinkreet
aku no hana

Thanks for the suggestion !
I've read that as well, though didn't enjoy it much.
And it didn't seem very similar to himizu, tekkon kinkreet or aku no hana

Oyasumi Punpun has a feeling similar to AnH, imo. And both are in my list of favorite mangas.

Oyasumi Punpun has the exact atmosphere I'm looking for !! And the art is spectacular. Thank you for the great suggestion~
Do you know any other similar manga ?? -sorry I'm greedy haha-

Nijigahara Holograph (and other works by Asano Inio)
A Lollipop or a Bullet
Dien Bien Phu
NHK (maybe)

Homunculus I'm not entirely sure about this, I wasn't really into it, but who knows, you might.

Glad you enjoyed it, i like when people read my favorite mangas
Well, i second the Nijigahara Holograph suggestion. The others works of Asano are a LITTLE more light-hearted, but may fit as well.

And i'm less sure, but Kokou no Hito could work for you. Read 'til vol 3, though. The story starts to pick up there

As people already mentioned, pretty much anything by Asano Inio. Also check:
Ciguatera offers often a sense of discomfort similar to Aku no Hana.
Onani Master Kurosawa I detest it, but I think it fits your requirements. It also shares similarities to Aku no Hana, but the main character is quite different.
Also, if you read novels, Hakomari (gets darker and weirder later on) and Gekkou (novel) (I'd define it a dark story presented in light way) are good reads.

Yes! I'm loving Asano, though some of the other stuff I've started reading doesn't seem to be on the same level story-wise.

Thanks! Onani master seems alright.

I'll give Kokou no Hito a try !

There were some I guess, though that thread didn't focus on having elements of regular life and none were heavily related to the manga I requested similar titles for.

I was about to, but you beat me to it. Seconding.

In a way Koharu no Hibi should fit too (tip: the girl is seriously creepy).

Also Kanojo wa Sore o Gaman Dekinai...
