The "Hide Series Categories by default?" setting seems to no longer be functioning (Safari on iOS 18.0.1). 3o5n4p

There seems to be some links which haven't been updated. For example, the "Categories" tab and the "See the tag dictionary" link on the advanced search page link to categories.html. The links should link to "/meta/categories".

The text field for posting comments seems to have autocorrect disabled. I'm not sure if this is intentional, but for me at least, it's inconvenient.

Besides the listed issues, I'm happy to see the site receive updates, as it's a great resource for discovering manga and friends. I'm interested in seeing what other improvements are in stock.

That is an extremely ancient browser, but it's one of the ed browser versions for framework I'm using. Can you attempt to refresh your again? I changed that code.

You will need to and log back in to get that working. When you , preferences are cached locally.

Can't with desktop browser, button just doesn't work. And using the site on mobile is torture.

I notice that reviews no longer have the exact dates they were published but instead are dated as "X days/weeks/months/years ago". Was this intentional? If so, why?

I feel the dates for reviews gave them much more character and ability to precisely place a review versus only have a vague idea of how many years ago it was written.

• one major issue that’ll cause so much inconvenience is this reply box does not auto-save any text anywhere on this site (be it forum replies or information edits). Which means one wrong click that directs you to another page will make you lose every single thing you’ve just typed even if you click “back” immediately. In fact, that’s what just happened to me writing this post, and now i’m having to retype it all over again. Not to mention autofill suggestions while typing in this box is not a thing anymore on mobile, which will seriously hamper typing speed, bc you can’t type normally with 10 fingers like with a computer. I use other forums and none of them disables autosave and autofill suggestions in the reply box

• another minor issue i have is when i try to edit a series or author page, the header now only says “Edit Series” ot “Edit Author” instead of saying exactly what the series title or who the author is. This will make it very easy to make mistakes & cause confusion for the editor, not to mention inconvenience bc the title can’t be referenced anymore while editing. And don’t forget the lack of autosave, so if you click “back” to check exactly what you’re trying to edit, returning to the edit page will make it erase every change you’d made before submitting

just want to point out what some already mention the "see tags dictionary" in the advance search function still error people need to manually go through long way find the category for it instead

You can hover over the "X days ago" and it should give you the full date (assuming you're not on mobile). Unfortunately dealing with locales with React is very difficult, as the dates will all need to re-render when they get client side which isn't pretty. Most websites generally do it this way now.

I'm sad that when I click search than when you see the series list under series you'd click see more and you would see the manga/manwha/manhua with the image but now it changed to next page

The issue is that the pages don't end in "html" anymore. This particular page is smart enough to redirect you to the list of series, but I think it does what you want if you straight up type in https://mangaupdates.conexionsite.com/series?list=47&perpage=50&orderby=rating

still stuck at refresh page. can't click the burger button either. trying to from incognito give either "oops something wrong try again" or doin nothing at all. try to go to registration page, and it seems verification box not showing on my old ass browser.

I didn't realize that the search redirected to use the covers. I'll change it back.

Found another issue (at least, one I'm not aware existed on the previous version). On a series search result page (for example, this one), images are not scaled to a common aspect ratio (say, 2:3). This causes series information to be misaligned with one another (search for "Out of Control (Bbong)" in particular).

Forgive my ignorance, but can you describe the autofill suggestions?
