It's a rather tricky task to redirect to the right post... but it's doable if you have a good sense of observation... (and you waste around 5 min of your life figuring it out.)

Detailed explanation:
*You first need the threads full address, (which is something easy to acquire)
in this case: http://mangaupdates.conexionsite.com/showtopic.php?tid=971
*Next you need to see in which page the post you're looking for is, in this case page1.
Add the page to the address by adding a &page=<page number> after the thread address.
*And finally you need the posts number. You add that to the address by adding #post<post number>
And done!
