it's cool with me, i got a lot of practice. im bad at lying, i got all bothered inside, so prefer to omit certain facts, being round-about, withhold information, or just smile until the person dont feel like asking anymore q1f3m

It will not make world a better place to live.Sometimes lies are good.I can't live in such a world.Everyday would be hell for me.

There is a huge difference between lying and deceptions. You can tell the truth and nothing but the truth but you can certainly deceive people with the truth. The simplest way would be the tone of your voice and the pauses in your sentences when you say something. You can say the exact same thing and people will understand it differently.

Then there is also the 'I'm not too certain' about facts. Human perceptions of facts can usually get it wrong. Combine it with trust, faith. emotions and a bit of pride then you will have a person believing in their perceptions instead of actual facts. They will tell the 'truth' as they perceive but certainly not the cold, hard facts that they actually witness.

Finally there is the 'spirit' and the 'letter'. You keep an agreement to the 'letter' but not the 'spirit'. For example, an evil faerie queen can certainly give you immortally if you ask to be an immortal. However, she can just turn you into a giant statue and keep you in a very very deep and dark vault which fulfills the 'immortal' part of the agreement but certainly not the kind of immortally you wished for.

The world would be extremely difficult to live in if nobody can tell a lie but deceptions in telling the truth is made into an art form.
