I like Action manga with some nice epic action scenes...so are there such scenes? For example the main char gets all beaten up...but then something occurs and he gets amazing power. 675l33
Since my time is limited, I want to know if it's worth reading. Thx!
It's not really an action manga, there are fights, yes, but it's more centered in a political/diplomatic issues. It might be weird coming from a manga about shinobi, but that is how Nabari no Ou is.

There is some action but nothing "epic" as you described. The main character has power but is not interested in using it. So maybe it's not exactly what you are looking for although IMO it's worth reading.

I dont know, but I certainly will not put it in my recommendation list to other readers. I've picked up this manga cuz some of my friends love this series, the art is pretty and curiosity gets a hold of me.
I've tried reading a couple of chapters and even followed the anime, but personally, it doesnt interest me. There's lackness in the characterisation of the main characters (I cant even their names!), the main hero is too stiff..too 'cool' for my liking and the plot failed to catch my attention.. it's not memorable..

I agree with the others. There is action but nothing on the scale of Naruto or Bleach with the 'beaten-to-a-bloody-pulp-but-determination-wins-the-day'. I thinks it's an excellent manga but I'm more into character development than action (thouh I do like action as well). There is a great plot which is quite in-depth and the main character has amazing power but he's also indifferent towards life in general. Ultimately this manga is more about the characters so maybe not what you're looking for.

One might argue that it's stranger that other manga featuring shinobi DO have knock down, drag out, not stealthy at all fights.

The action is there, but like others have said already it's not that epic, even when the secret power comes out.
It'll be something to read if you have nothing else, so give it a shot and see how much you like it. Especially since the first few chapters is pretty much the same for the rest of them in of "epicness". 😐
its ok. i liked it a lot even though others might not have

So it's nothing that gets my adrenalin flowing? Then I won't read it.
Thx for your replies everyone. You saved me from wasting my time.

Though, it depends on what gets your adrenaline flowing. Those slow, lengthy fights do far too little for me on that . Though props to you if useless boredom causes the release of adrenaline.
