Missing chapters in english version? 5i2a4l

okay, so here we go with another angel sanctuary topic... 1v2v6b
anyway, i bought the first 5 volumes of the licensed english version of angel sanctuary, and then i ed that something was missing, because i read the scanlated version before i bought it..
theres a couple of chapters where everyone at the school knows about sara and setsuna that wasnt in the english version. its chapter 7 on manga animea if you wanted to check.
its completely missing from the licensed version. i was wondering if that was because it contained incest or something else? because i think it was a stupid thing to do, to take out an entire part of the storyline.

really! I have Angel santuary on my 'to buy' list but I'm not sure I want to if they are skipping chapters. It would just irritate me to read abridged versions. Thanks for the heads up. It seems a strange part to remove though, it's not like the manga doesn't make the incestuous relationship obvious.
The pen is mightier than the sword...and considerably easier to write with.

Viz likes to censor stuff so I'd say that's the main reason. Good thing I didn't buy this series. I'd be pissed as hell knowing that since I didn't know beforehand. Thanks for the heads up on this OP.

It must have been a printing error.
Because I just looked in my second volume, chapter seven is the same as the one on manga.animea.net (I just looked page for page.)
Then again, I have the third printing >.>...

@Mikashi that is certainly something to consider it being the third but
this is exactly what I'm talking about. Everyone read my comment under the new Poll about paying for manga.

Actually, they probably changed it in later versions because i have the first printing(2004). Gaaah, I'm so mad they only decided to put it in later on...

Well, you could always exchange the volume for a later printing? I really don't know what to tell ya XD.
