What do think is One Piece is better then Fairy Tail?

....but it doesnt matter how good something is at a certain point....what matters is how good it is in the end. ur making no sense...as long as the first 5 volumes are good the next 30 vol can be whatever and should have no weight on my review of the manga.....thats rediculous. that would be like playing an rpg halfway through then saying its the greats rpg of all time. the story could become complete crap and yet ur saying its better then known greats. it just doesnt make sense to me to unnecessarily compare a work of art with something that might end up being a work of art....

It does make sense, a bit more than the grammar of your post (mine isn't perfect). We are not comparing 5 volumes here, we are comparing a series with 50 released volumes (OP) with a series that has 25 volumes (GTO).

This is like comparing a painting in a done frame with a full wall painting that is 2/3 done. You can see the quality of both to a large degree, the last 1/3 might be weak but it is more likely it will keep near the same quality.

As for the RPG comparison, I start comparing 5 minutes into the game, if I am still at the intro at that stage and it is bad I might never finish that game. The start and first half is more important than the end in my eyes. The ending is important of course, but it doesn't move a score to the other side of the scale, it adjusts it a bit.

grammar? lol, ok. i'm not sure why u are talking about one piece....i guess because u voted for it, but we can if you want to. I have read all of these manga completely or up to their current translated chp. except one piece. I stopped around chp. 420 or so cuz of magical fairy boats & the "dragonball z" like turn it was taking. just because its abnormally long the bad should be overlooked and thats just bias. when art is involved it will always be quality over quantity.

like u said, The ending is important. it will affect how someone will feel about a manga, good or bad. As with the evidence of your post, everyone is different and so a bad ending might mean more to others which is most likely the general case. i mean....look at mx0....its a prime example. many thought: "man, this manga is great" that is... until it ended. so, as i was saying, needlessly comparing a completed series with a ongoing series for the best shonen of all-time is just dumb. plus there is already a rating system in place on this site....it would make a little more sense if they just used their own rating system and had you pick between those top 5 or just not of had this poll at all.......

lolz at the fact that two of the three shounen "giants" aren't on there, bleach and naruto. Although. Naruto sucks, and bleach is getting crappier, so I understand.

FMA ftw!! I kinda always thought Death Note was more seinen, but apparently I was wrong... OP is good, but not as good as FMA... and I haven't read the others, but I've heard of them. So my vote is a little biased.

The ending was too horrible.
That downgraded it, it's now not even close to OP and FMA's level.

Well the poll is best. not rank. so most people could have claymore as number two in their personal rankings. but that doesnt help it in the best rankings. the rankings is for people you has it as the best. So the least amount of people think its the best. that doesnt mean that the least amount of people like it. it could have the most votes for which is the second best.

There's should be answer "Other" or "All shit', or at least "I don't care' =)
