Hate it. It wasn't too long ago that I got my internet upgraded so the agony of s is still fresh. A thirty page chapter would take somewhere between 10 to 20 minutes to (assuming I wasn't ing anything else), depend on the image optimization of the scanlator. It's not so bad with a lot of groups using online readers, but it used to be so horrible back in the day. So much time and bandwith lost! The worst part if it all is encountering the release outside of April Fools day. It's the gift that keeps on giving. 3k5c4v

90%+ of the time, they're not funny at all. Let's not even get into cleverness or originality. It's usually full of crude sexual bathroom humor, awful puns, intentionally terrible edits, and/or filled with random memes strung together, trying to for a joke. (Thankfully, the fervor of shock porn and gore has died down in contrast to the "early years".) If it's not releases, then it's the scanlator lying, like closing down and having a serious illness. Is getting a life debilitating medical condition funny to you?! If my friends did that to me, I'd probably be angry at them for weeks. Not cool.
