I can't believe people still get on her for how she acted in Road to Ninja yet they completely ignore how bratty Naruto was as well. 19331j

New flash: Kishi made her like that at the beginning on purpose! He had to regress their characters in the movie so that their growth was more obvious. By the end of the movie, she understood Naruto completely and did anything she could to protect him from Memna.

Just like Naruto, how horribly he treated Iruka and got all pissy with the Ramen man for absolutely no reason. Yet, by the end of the movie, he learned to appreciate his parent's sacrifice and everything they did and didn't do for him.

Road to Ninja was a super compressed version of what happened in the manga. Part 1 Sakura did not care much for Naruto, she was all for Sasuke. Part 2 Sakura has cried over Naruto's well being multiple times and even tried to break her promise with Naruto because it was hurting him. Does that arc not exist in the eyes of people who hate Sakura? 🤣

Nitpicking whiners. 😐 But oh well, I doubt anyway cares about my opinion. I still don't know why Sakura gets more hate than Sasuke in the series. At least among western fans.

She's my third favourite character and used to be my favourite of all time , She stopped being my favourite as I started from shippuden and when I went back to naruto she acted so childish and immature and was horrible to naruto while having that silly , shallow fangirl crush on sasuke , Since she changed I didn't hold it against her but she couldn't be my favourite character after that

sure sakura has annoying traits but more than than being annoying shes kind of boring compared to the other characters.
i mean while other characters gets dramatic pasts and well defined personalities, interesting quirks and motivatitions sakura gives the impression that she was thrown in by kishimoto just because a shonen manga is supposed to have a female lead aside from the main male.
she doesnt really have any special skills aside from book learning until after the time skip, while the other people have dramatic flashbacks she gets one about how she ditched her best friend for a cool guy. and her personality is that of an two faced anoying fangirl its basicly a personality usually reserved for side characters.

But she's still not very interesting compared to most of the other characters and i actually think thats the main reason for the hate against sakura not that shes annoying (i mean shes harldy the most annoying character out there) but that shes simply not interesting enough to be the female lead of the story or Narutos love interest.

i don't hate her. i just don't want her to end up with naruto. naruto deserves better.

Well, she was just plain unlikeable pre-shippuden era.

After Shippuden I can say she is much more tolerable but maybe people can't shake the useless, childish image that Sakura had before she got better?

I also don't understand why people hate her, it's true that in the begining of the manga she was annoying, useless and I didn't like her attitude but I didn't hate her and due to her missions and the understanding of her team she really changed.
In Naruto Shippuden she is a really nice and caring person and she no longer is useless, she got strong by trying hard and now she can stand next to sasuke and naruto.
In my opinion people just say they hate her because she was insensitive with naruto and sasuke in the begining of the series and because they all want hinata to be with naruto because hinata is sweet (etc) but the truth is that the manga shows that people change according to the chalenges they face and also grow stronger because of mistakes. That's what happened to her, during the series she grew and became really strong That's why I don't know why many people hate her, I would like them to give valid reasons to do that, not to say that she is useless(etc) because she isn't anymore

I don't like her or hate her - she just doesn't seem to belong. I would hate for Naruto to end up with her (which it looks like) instead of Hinata Hyuga. Sakura is just too, too shallow and self-centered.

If Sakura would team up with Sasuke, I would love her...

I don't hate Sakura but she is not exactly my favorite character. Okay, she is at the bottom of that list. I just ignore her every time she appears in the manga and in the anime. To me, friendship is a big deal so when she ditched Ino for Sasuke, I was mad. You pick Sasuke who barely looks your way over your best friend who saved you from bullies, help you gain confidence and introduce you to other friends? That is not right. Even when they had their feud, Ino still helped her in the Forest with the Sound Ninjas. She claimed it was for Sasuke but you know it is really for Sakura. i just can't respect that at all. She was pretty annoying in the first season really. She was always whining and stuff but she was only 12. However, that just made her a character I just ignore.
After the timeskip is when I think she got on my nerves, still no hatred! She was playing with Naruto's feelings. Yes, she got stronger compared to her 12 year old self, but she doesn't really show it. There was one fight with Sasori but she had help. Other than that, I can't anything. Sakura still liking Sasuke that I don't find too bad because Ino still kind of does too, but how she tried to kill him but failed. How she is about it is annoying. She is too focused on him. As you can see, I like Ino and Hinata a lot better than her! They actually grew up. Hinata was quiet and shy and not as strong. But despite this, she train hard not only to protect but for herself as well. When she went to Naruto's side during Pain's battle, I was even more impressed. Ino grew up too. Despite being upset about Sasuke, she still manned up and did what she had to do.During the war, she was pretty impressive, resolving to fight her sensei, and even lost her father. Despite that, she still fighting hard in the war. I agree with all everyone is saying about Sakura.
