You know, when you get into your twenties, a 9 year age difference isn't so much anymore.

And to get technical, pedophilia is a sexual attraction to children by an adult. If you're getting the "sexual attraction" part out of the manga, you're insane (literally).

Any how, I disliked her in the manga, but I liked her in the anime. The differences were big enough, though I can't put my finger on what it was.

The anime rates in my top 10 anime, eternal snow makes me sad years after watching it the last time.

The manga I don't want to re-read since the anime made me expect more due to the usual manga>anime conditions.

At the same time, does that mean that 12 year olds should be hooking up with 16 or 20 year olds? Just because a person is physically ready does not mean that the person is emotionally or mentally ready.

Also, I think most people on the radio that dispense advice in regards to people are in college and looking to a high schooler as a girlfriend or relationship, usually the advice giver says that the asker should wait for the teenager to grow up before pursuing anything serious. People in their teenager years tend to be "MeMeMe" or undergoing changes. There also this manga oneshot called Full-Moon-something where an 18 year-old is doing stuff with about a 14 year-old. Even the smutty mangaka's story was not in the corner of "Go for it!" (I think the manga usually does, since there aren't much morals in shoujo oneshots)

It's not that I hate her, it's more like I hated the unrealistically cheesy happy plot line. At the beginning, they said she was supposed to die, so I came into the manga just to read about how she would die. But then there was that cheesy plot twist at the end where takuto, who's supposed to be dead, comes back to life and they get to live happily ever after. I generally liked her (and how emo she was heheh), but I didn't really like how she was at the end, how she became all bubbly and cute. And I have to it, that last with Eichi looking so heartbroken killed me.
To sum it up, I don't hate Mitsuki. It's the cheesy plot twist to make a ridiculously happy ending I hate. ^_^

Its the first time knowing that many people hated her.. For me, I dont really favor her much but neither do i hate her. She doesnt have that attitude where I can completely hate her. She's alright. I kinda agree with kaabi, maybe its just the plot that makes you hate her. Well.. who knows?

i like mitsuki. she´s not the typical shoujo charater, she is way deeper

Oh, come on it's a manga for little girls. xD Did you really expect her to die? How realistic is that? In shoujo manga, the heroine NEVER dies.

I laughed in Eichi's face. I hate him as a character and I don't understand why people still want Mitsuki and Eichi together. It's missing the entire point of the series which was "moving ON". Choosing Takuto was the best thing for Mitsuki to do. She is now with someone who she knows for sure would lay down his life for her and love her eternally and unconditionally. Eichi promised no such thing. lol

EichixMitsuki is just stupid, over-exaggerated, incredibly BORING, puppy-love. >_>
