That'd be correct - though only for those who didn't hate Sasuke all along.

If I recall, the first bandwagon was, "Omg sasuke should totally be the main character in Naruto."

Sasuke and his arrogance never sat well with me. And then midway through the series you're given a plethora of reasons why you should hate him, and then more to add to that later on.

I think the show should have definitely been called 'Shikimaru', because he is definitely the most badass (or Gaara.)

I blame 99% of the characters continued deficiencies on Kishimoto though. His brother did soooo much better at the 666 Satan time skip, compared to the shitstorm that was the Naruto time skip (ala nothing happening -at all- besides Sasuke's Super Saiyan XXX power-up.) I mean seriously, most of the characters don't even look different o.o, not to mention act different.
