Shoujo - "secondary" male lead gets girl 4l4pv

What I mean by "secondary" is the guy that comes along later in shoujos. Usually the "nice guy" type (though this isn't necessarily true). 6o5d43
It's just that, lately I've realized I always end up rooting for the "second" guy... and usually, their chances of getting with the heroine is slim to none... i.e.
Strobe Edge, Oboreru Knife, Ao Haru Ride, Hirunaka no Ryuusei, Heroine Shikkaku, Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun--just to name a few.
So for once I want to read something where the first, most obvious choice isn't the one that prevails. Or even if it's not actually the "second guy"... I'm okay with scenarios where the non-asshole gets chosen over the asshole too.
Examples:
Datte Aishiteru (AKIRA Shouko), Cat Street, Katakoi Triangle (?), Tonari no Atashi

Myunga had a crush on Ecchan (and he shows up a lot in the beginning of the manhwa). The guy she was supposed to end up with (Taek-Gang) was a potential love interest in the other girl, Hana, first. So it was somehow unexpected she will eventually go with Taek-Gang, the second guy (although, he wasn't a "nice guy," he changes throughout the course of his relationship with Myunga)
In the raws, she ended up with the second guy (once again, he's not a "nice guy" though)
I've seen the raws and I was kinda expecting her to end up with the first and second guy so I was really shocked to find out that it would be the THIRD guy! This manhwa was really enjoyable but I'm not really sure if I should finish it now. rooting for the first and second
She didn't end up with the guy in the summary. I feel somehow cheated since the childhood flashbacks constantly appearing (even in the very beginning) really makes you think he's the main love interest.

Just by reading the summary, you would expect that she'd end up with the prince/fiance but
in the raws, she UNEXPECTEDLY ends up with the prince's bodyguard, Yohan.

you can't forget fruits basket and i'm pretty sure heroine no shikkaku is heading in that direction as well.

NOOOOOOooo. My only consolation is that the manga is still ongoing and though I haven't seen the raws yet, maybe there'll be a turn around? PLEASE.

Boku wa Ookami, one of my favorites. That has a typical 'childhood friends when along comes the new guy' plot, but it was a lot of fun.

Heh, with Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun, I always thought it fits Yamaken more to be rejected. Tragedy is one of his appeals, you know? And judging by the preview, Yamaken will be appearing more as sort of an emotional for Shizuku, all the while pretending he's not affected by her rejection and trying to actually follow his own advice. <3
Kuragehime fits but I don't like it.
