Umm this may sound wierd, but as a scanlator myself,I just read manga by clicking the "view as slide show" icon in the sidebar of the chapter folder.I had little idea that alot of people use these so called "manga viewing" software. For me I don't see the point in having such software. The slide show viewer auto centers the image on your screen. And blacks out any empty space at the sides.Just press the spacebar to move to the next page.Optimun conditions imo for reading.Even more perplexing, is that I know someone who manually opens up the pages one by one with image viewing programs.

HAS THE WORLD MOVED ON WITHOUT ME?

I MUST HAVE BEEN STARING AT MY PHOTOSHOP EDITOR FAR TOO LONG!!

Mainly Onemanga or Mangafox.

I read series online first and if I like it enough I save up to buy it but by reading it online I don't waste my money on series I don't enjoy that much. I'm a student so live away from home and don't have money to spare on a lot of manga when it's £7 per volume (roughly $14 I think). I don't likek to manga either, just in case the source isn't secure. I would die in my laptop crashed by getting a virus, it has my entire life on it. lol.

Cdisplay , its the best because I can leave my manga in zip files and still be able to read them.

I find that using a program designed for comics and manga makes the experience much more enjoyable for me. I actually use 2 proggies for viewing - CDisplay for when I'm using windows and Comix when I'm on linux.

There is definitely something to be said for not having to unzip all your files to view them and if you like looking at 2 pages at a time, having them displayed in the right order is a definite bonus.

Doesn't it get hard to read with small text?

I use CDisplay. It's really easy to use and I have never had any problems with it. Why use something else when what I have is perfect? 😀
