I've been searching everywhere and I'm officially giving up. So I decided to ask you guys for help:

I read this completed manga not so long ago. It was set in a kinda victorian setting (a bit goth like).

A girl starts living with this man (older than her) who I think is an exorcist? He is kinda shy yet dorky - and surrounded by mystery which kinda intrigues the girl, but he's keeping her at a distance (it's not a sappy romance kind of story)
The girl is seeing these weird shadows and is told to not go near them. The man usually makes them go away. Though at the end I'm pretty sure she gets kinda possessed and he saves her by entering her mind?

I think there was this guy friend (of the man) as well. A much lighter and humorous character compared to the two main characters. And a little girl/demon/reborn something(?) who has a gold ring which is also part of the mystery...

ahrg.. I know I'm horribly vage, but does this sound familiar to anyone??
