I really liked the art and the fact that this wasn't the typical Shoujo with a really naïve and weak heroine etc... However I didn't like how the plot evolved in the lasts volumes 6x3w14
Seriously, she just had to be a little bit more honest and Tomoyo didn't have to disappear like that. I didn't like the pitiful Madoka at that time (and why the short hair? She was so cute before with her long hair...
I really liked the characters in this manga. Everyone had a very different personnality but each of them, even the rivals, had its good points and was lovable. The heroine is not irritating as in many shoujos, I liked it when sometimes she snaps up or when she just took the things in hand because the male lead was too slow. It's just too bad that it's a slow romance, but well, maybe things wouldn...
It's been years since I first read this manga and it still captivates me each time I reread it.
The only thing that really disappointed me is the ending that doesn't feel like it at all. I feel quite dissatisfied with how things stayed between all the characters. After all the tension and competitivity built between Akira, Hikaru, but also their Insei classmates and the "old" titles holders, I...
This is an unusual love story, it's about two characters completely obsessed with each other since childhood, to the point they become very manipulative and sometimes cruel towards each other.
This unhealthy obsession makes the story a bit creepy, but I found it very intriguing and actually really liked it. I feel there's lots of things the author could have done better, but I give it such a good...
The love story between a cute high school girl and her very scary looking classmate. Their kindergarten brother and niece play an important part in the story, it was refreshing 🙂
Like the other mangas of Aya Nakahara it was a positive, cute and funny story.
For once I would I've liked for him to win the girl, instead of the usual male lead...
Anyway, the manga was pretty cool even if a bit messy and cliché (seems like it's often the case with HMR's works...).
No big surprises in there, you can easily guess the plot as you read on. But i liked it nonetheless, i really liked the heroine and her personnality. Her friends too.
It's refreshing to read a shoujo manga where the characters don't make a big fuss over a little kiss and where the quiproquos don't last too long!
For a oneshot, you can easily give it a try 😉
I quite enjoyed the story but it feels like some things weren't properly dealt with.
Like the cruel prince of Lithuanel who became king by betraying his family and the ajin who genuinely loved him. Seriously, he deserved to be punished, but we never heard about Lithuanel again during the rest of the manga.
AND WHAT ABOUT LOKI? I feel this story was soooo unfair to him.
After he separated from...
Too bad it finished so soon we didn't really see the "final couples" getting together...
I found the guys pretty cool in this manga (Yamato particularly) and the best friend Nishiki too, even if we don't really know anything about her. For the main lead it would have been better if she wasn't so thick and naïve, but well... it's a typical shoujo manga isn't it?
In the end it was quite cute and...
I really liked it at the beginning and liked most of the characters, which is rare. But then the plot seemed to become more confused and I didn't like the way it ended. It felt rushed and
she could have answered to Sihoo's feelings right at the hospital instead of drawing everything out unnecessarily!
It annoys me that there isn't a proper end. The story ends abruptly, like there's gonna be another chapter after it, but no. We are left without any kind of conclusion.
The story was cute nonetheless. It's true that it was a bit cliché, but well it's still a cute read.
Reading the comments I expected it would be a lot worse than this. I didn't find it that confusing. Yeah it's a bit messy, but lots of HMR's works are like that. Get used to it 😉
Anyway, Love SOS isn't her best work but it's not that bad either. For once it's not all about gangs and school leaders, the guys aren't even violent guys and have very different personnalities (they are all a bit...
This manga had so much potential at first that I rated it 8. But then the plot began to drag. It became quite confusing but as someone said i don't know if it's due to the manga or the translation.
Even if i found Asami annoying at first, in the end I couldn't understand why she loved Akira. I liked him in the beginning of the story but then we found out that he was manipulative, really self...
I don't especially recommend this manga, it was sometimes a little bit muddled and really it feels like the author had to stop the serie before its time. In the end, it's a quick read but not particularly good.
I've read better work from HMR, I don't really understand why this one is so popular compared to others.
I did an effort to read it to the end and I agree with Thalestris : the characters have really poor personnalities. For example :
- The main character is self centered and becomes overly dramatic once she falls in love. Also every guy ends up falling for her for no reason (I think the author...
It was nice and cute at the beginning, then everything went wrong. The scanlation team changed and all the characters names with it, the story went really messy and the ending was just a joke, really.
In the last volume it seems the author wanted to draw more of a drama than a happy love story. So the overall feeling of the manga changed, and even the characters seemed to have different...
Well, I like polyamorous relationships but this one just didn't feel right. The way it began (and continued) with Mine just feels like a rape and it was more uncomfortable than sexy or anything. No means no.
And Hiroi just seems to be an egoistic brat that has absolutely no consideration whatsoever for the people surrounding him.
Mine and Take have their cute sides.
This manga was so messy at first it was hard to understand what was going on! I almost gave it up, but then it got a little bit better... Still, it is not really a good read.
It's similar to all the other Hwang Mi Ri works, but it is far from being the best. If you have a choice, stick with Hot Blooded Woman or Cutie Boy.
At first I wasn't really into it. I'm not very comfortable with the way Sachi is: she's stupid and really lacks self-love, causing her to have a childhood that I find to be quite sad and disturbing.
She's been raped for god's sake!
But things got better nonetheless, and the manga left me with a very nice feeling. I recommend it and encourage you to not give up if you're not into the first...
