Doesn't always make sense, and some may find a few of the plot elements squicky. It's really sexy, and whatever part stands on its own works brilliantly. Definitely worth a read if the incest doesn't turn you off. 2p3646
Well, for oneshots, the quality is very good. The art isn't the greatest, but it's really nice anyway. The stories are done well, but not developed- as to be expected for one shots. But none of these stories would have worked serialized anyway, so...
All the stories are good, especially the last one. Things might not make sense to some slower readers, because a lot of things are implied rather than explicitly stated. Nevertheless, this is a manga no one should miss.
The characters are presented much sexier on the cover than in the actual manga. The manga itself is beautifully grotesque and deliciously macabre. With the exception of the Sentinel chapters, all of the individual chapters are good. As for the art, a lot of uncanny valley in this one.
This manga is really indescribable. The characters are not believable, the romance is rushed, the angst is contrived, and the porn is so so at best. Even though I give it a low rating, I recommend to read it for its craziness, something that's always worth reading about.
This mangaka isn't afraid to touch on less "pretty" characters and I appreciate that. We can't all be muscular bishounen, and the insecurities that Yamaji harbors are very real.
The art is gorgeous, as always, and the plot is fluffy and cute. It's a little shallow, but then it's a you manga...
There's a bit of dub on in a few of these stories, and there's an attempted rape scene... I don't feel like it really detracts from the story, but I didn't expect Naono sensei to use these elements, based on her other works. Anyway, if you've read her other stories you know what to expect: age difference, tooth rotting fluff, etc.
Amai Karada is one that I've been searching for, and I'm so glad...
As most of the reviews said, the title story and Canary are the best of the bunch. That being said, all of these stories are good in their own right, and this is a very well rounded collection. Lily Hoshino's art is not to my preference, but is demure and beautiful in its own way. Don't miss this for sure.
If this is porn then it is extremely deficient. There is basically no fap material in this, the Ukes all look like little girls. The stories are really weak, if cute. The art is very pretty, though.
It's a cute, fluffy story basically. The uke is a caricature and the seme is just totally unsympathetic. The misunderstandings are dumb and a lot of things are never properly explained. Still, it scores high since the cute and fluff carry it.
With Naono sensei you always get good art, decent plot, great characters, and cavity causing fluff. This work is on par with her best... But I say that about almost all of her works LOL
In a perfect world we would find a work that gives us exactly what we want... but in this world most will have to settle for a rough approximation. And that's what this is: a bunch of rough approximations. There's a rough approximation of angst, a rough approximation of fluff. Put together, it's a rough approximation of a good manga. Definitely worthy of a read, just don't come in expecting...
The idea of the story is good, if a bit hackneyed. The angst wasn't handled as well as I would have liked, but it was okay too. The art was a little awkward, but don't let that stop you from reading it. It's not my favorite but it's definitely worth a read, specifically Bad Dream.
The plot was confusing and sort of aimless, development and progression make little to no sense, and it seems that the author does not respect the distinctions between various psychological conditions.
The uke was really likeable, and the seme was less than sympathetic. That said, this manga was exactly what I was looking for when I read it, so I kind of look back on it fondly. The part where Natsuo said he didn't care if Hiro was lying to him or not... it really made me tear up.
Hiro just isn't likeable because he's petty and childish. He does mature nicely over the course of the one shot...
The first story is super disgusting. There's brutal rape, attempted murder, and cheating. Nevertheless, the author tries to make this fluffy and cute. Absolutely reprehensible. The uke is a spineless turd and the seme is a spineless criminal turd.
The second story is so standard.
The third story I like. The seme is obviously hurting his partner, but he's realized that and is making an effort...
This story is satisfying, with decent art. The storytelling is super lacking, however, and don't expect to be astonished, because everything is cliched and predictable. There's never really suspense as to the relationship, because despite the premise, the author is too quick to kill off the tension by assuring us of the feelings of both parties. Still worth a read, but not the life changer it...
The main story was pretty dumb, and the one shot was not sweet at all! It was actually pretty angst u and open ended. Personally, I don't think they would have gotten together.
If you're looking for a love story that transcends boundaries, tugs at your heartstrings, and carries a powerful message, this oneshot is an excellent read. The selflessness and generosity in this manga astounds me.
The manga seemed to be going in one direction and then BAM. Would be forgivable if the art was decent, if there was good smut, or if the characters were relatable at all... But none of the above apply.
