This is a very interesting little one-shot; it is cleverly written and gives the readers a good idea of the instability and harshness of the political world. The side-notes explaining the situation that inspired each 4-koma, taught me more about politics than any Social Studies lesson could. And of course, the fact that the art is so cute doesn't hurt either 🙂 35h53

This is actually a really good one-shot; riddled with symbolism and dealing head-on with the experiences and mental processes of a girl undergoing puberty. At times, however, I felt that it was rather melodramatic. I doubt many people have ever gone through the extreme experiences etched out in this one-shot... but it will be a very relateable for those who have.

There are some very graphic scenes...

How is adorableness of this level even possible!?
Yururira is simple, charming, and a truly wonderful read. It's full of cuteness and comedy, but still manages to convey a nice little message...albeit a somewhat typical one.

The art is simple, but so fitting. The characters are very endearing, yet don't come across as unrealistic or over-idealized. The concept of an elementary school student being...

This is a wonderfully gripping collection of short stories, each delving deep into the cruelty, superficiality and immorality of the human psyche. The supernatural themes are but a simple aid which enables the author to better put her message across. If you take a moment to ponder, you will see that these are not mere fairytales of tragic romance- they carry a warning about how jealousy, avarice...

A really interesting little trio of short stories. I can understand the low rating, though -- I bet most of the readers were expecting cliché sappy romance and were disappointed when they didn't get that. But if you're tired of the typical shoujo romantic comedies, this little oneshot is a good chance to try something with a somewhat different approach to Christmas-themed love stories.

The art is...

Really, I pity whoever added the "BL Subtext" tag to the category field: Congratulations, my dear, you just misunderstood the meaning behind this entire story.

The protagonist is heterosexual (proven in the last couple of pages), so he has no vested interest in sticking up for a gay guy he's barely had a conversation with; he's 14, an age where hardly anyone -- and especially not the average...

This one was really interesting. Finally ~ a BL that isn't some sugar-coated fantasy about obsessive love that's equally reciprocated and ends in some improbable happily-ever-after-scenario! An "unpredictable outcome" indeed...

A recommended read for anyone who feels she can enjoy a unique -- but cruel -- twist to her shounen-ai.

...so I didn't expect anything too deep or meaningful. It's not a bad story at all, though; the themes of morality and suchlike are dealt with rather loosely- but then again, shounen manga are not know for their perceptiveness. I rather liked the implied meanings though- that a human has to struggle against the dark side of his nature until he dies; and that some people find this much harder than...

This one-shot took me completely by surprise! The characters are hateful, yes; but they are accurate depictions of real-life personalities and their twisted motives, and how they would not shrink at sacrificing a little girl to obtain what they desire.
The ending, however, was much too focused on poetic justice to be entirely believable.

The art is dated, but I recommend every mystery-fan to give ...

Actually, this wasn't too bad for a one-shot. Yes, I know it borrowed the basic concept from a popular piece of literature; but that in and of itself doesn't make The Moneky's Foot a shallow rip-off. In fact, objects with the ability to raise the dead are a standard trope in many supernatural / horror stories.

The story is interesting for two reasons; one, it acknowledges the fact that you should...

This is the only story I've ever read that deals with

narcissism.

As expected of Kaori Yuki - the characters are dark and the plot is very morbid and twisted. The ending was thoroughly shocking.
As for the 'romance' tag- if you're expecting something sweet and lovey-dovey between the brother and sister, you had better walk away right now.
I don't think this story is even remotely unrealistic...

...with a likeable protagonist and pleasant artwork, but sadly, all of it only amounted to a one-shot. I'd have liked to follow Raeeum on more adventures through the dream world, as I was left with the feeling that this story's just one of many in an episodic series.

Still, I do recommend Lucid Dream for a quick read exploring a unique plot bunny.

I can guarantee one thing- the ending will take you by surprise. No-one would have been able to guess what the source of the 'terror' was!
Just take 3 minutes and check this one out- it isn't a waste of time at all!

It's a supernatural-themed depiction of how jealousy, avarice, materialism and selfishness can destroy a person's relationships, and will eventually end up ruining his life.

One-shots are meant to be like this- they're short works that provide the reader with a brief inspection of human nature and the ways of this world and make him think. You can't expect to get the message of a story like this...

...the execution was so amateurish that all the potential was squandered. The manhuaga should have taken their time and developed the characters, their pasts and the tragic happenings of the present in a more orderly and detailed fashion. If the storytelling had been more skilful, this premise could have gone a long way. As it is, The Rain Leaves a Scar is barely above "mediocre."

This one-shot is a waste of even the ten minutes you have to dedicate to reading it. I'm not sure whether it's the result of faulty translation or the original work, but the story is disted and fails miserably at conveying the psychological message it is trying to put across.
I could only vaguely guess at what the mangaka's intentions for writing this story was.
The ending...pretty much comes...

Just another romance manga that tries (and fails) to disguise itself as something unique. It seems that no matter how much they try, romance authors still can't stop falling back on the same tired old clichés: Clumsy and unsociable girl IRL is a strong gamer in the virtual world and has been rapidly rising through the ranks --> Meets the (also a gamer but not as highly ranked) boy she inexplicably...
