It has a properly thought out plot, not to mention a protagonist who's a decent guy with a realistic capacity for fear, cowardice, doubt and vengefulness, tempered by a strong conscience. The female lead isn't an annoying tsundere: she's a shy, sweet girl who's pretty - but not "hot." There's no ridiculous fan service or budding romance that's completely unsuited to a life-or-death scenario; just...
