Spoiler free:This is about Mi-ae's school life adventures, while trying her hardest to be friends with the new scary deskmate (who of course is a softie inside), only trying his darnest to be inconspicuous at school, and failing miserably at ignoring her lol. 6f1j1q
A very very slow burn, slice of life kind of feel at the start, a lot of studying involved, but once it gets going, I finished 3 years...
(Until ch 10)
I'm enjoying how unserious this manhwa is! And Seo Mina is such a fun outrageous heroine so far.
(Read until ch 24)
This is such a fun read! I used to find 'friends to lovers boring, but Unripe Apples made me find a new appreciation for well-written ones, and this is a spicier version of it. What's different with Haneul and Mincheol is the physical aspect came first, the feelings are there, but right now it's all still jumbled and messy. I just hope there is no unnecessary love triangle on...
(Upto ch13)
Was ready to dismiss this as yet another school romance with love triangle. But Yeo Eunsol is my spirit animal, as the snobbish antisocial introvert who is buried in books all day. His bickering with our girl Ra Jisoo is comedic fun. The art is also cuteness and contributes to the light, slice of life atmosphere of the story. And does the blond guy get the girl for once?
(Upto ch6)
Ignore the title, for first impressions, this manhwa is something I wish I can binge right now, hopefully there's eng license soon. The shaman angle, heroine who only wants to earn more money, hero who'll do anything to escape, makes an engrossing read from the usual arranged marriage trope.
(Upto ch10)
What makes this interesting is that both the heroine and hero are a little bit different from the usual ones in shojo. There's a bit of role reversal here. Our heroine is the grumpy type that has sworn off cute guys since her heartbreak years ago, and the hero is the sunny, sensitive, people pleaser type. But as hardships arise, the heroine finds herself falling more for our...
(Upto ch33)
Ignore the awful pun in the title, this is such a good smutty romcom, in the likes of Yoshihara Yuki mangas. You may initially dismiss this as yet another office romance, but it's so unserious where you can turn your brain off and just enjoy the funny. The heroine elevates the usual tropes with her overactive otaku imagination. Hope it keeps its quality throughout.
(No spoilers, upto ch17)
The title doesn't even do this manhwa justice. What does it even mean? This manhwa harkens to those stories about the afterlife, grim reapers and the souls they guide, and the loved ones left on the land of the living. It feels episodic so far, with the first case completing on ch17, so it probably won't tackle a lot of cases if the manhwa completed at ch57, with a bigger...
(Upto ch9)
That extra looong title is exactly what the story is. I'm such a sucker for the girl chasing the grumpy guy (who forgot about her and can't help but fall again) trope, and this is done so well guys. With that beautiful art, I'm such a fan. They're in a Harry Potter like magical school, but it's more of a backdrop for now for the romance and mystery. You know you're hooked when you're...
(Upto ch22 s1 finale)
There's some dubious seduction at the start because of the seductive nature of incubus stories...but if you can get that, this is quite the engrossing read, and the gradual change of their feelings from physical to emotional was done well.
Fun premise (cohabitation, rekindled old love), still looking forward to reading more even if the execution is a bit clunky.
