Description

In the near future, the world is a desolate place occupied by the undead. Strange crystals emit a deadly zombie virus as the last remnants of humanity struggle to avoid infection and survive. Speechless.. is that what debut looks like.. ?!! ..what about humble beginnings?
The art style and the story, the settings.. they are all very cool.. to say a few, I can't even name which character I loved more, I loved both the good and the evil, the main and the side characters too..

I feel that there is even space for a sequel, though it may never come to be. It is a little sad to say goodbye from everyone at the end of the story.

Marvelous tense drama with some action, a sprinkle of young romance and - a rushed ending (it’s becoming a norm with webtoons). We have four mcs, two teenagers (zomboy and Ruby) and two adults (Rocan and Bevrian), although I would say the complicated friendship between adults gets more screen time. The beginning does not really reflect what the rest of the story is really like - lots of interpersonal drama, obssessions and dealing with consequences of your decision (in some cases).
I was reading it for all the nuances between Rovan and Bevrian friendship, and some mysteries, cool character design and bleak backgrounds are just a plus. Oh, and humour is also great, especially as a break from more intense moments.
Zombie world is kind of there - there are a few smart ideas, especially at the beginning, but it’s more of a local story rather than „save the world” plotline.
Regarding the ending - yes, it is rushed and the more I think about it the less I am fond of it, but by no means it substracts from the rest of the webtoon.

Apocalyptic Friendships

Primarily, the story follows around four main characters. These characters are traversing the apocalyptic landscape together, and meeting fellow survivors at camps along the way. All this happens, while trying to avoid human and zombie dangers. The story questions the pyschology of these characters from what they perceive as normal to who they are willing to sacrifice.
