Great concept, terrible execution

Let's begin on a positive note, the art is good, the ML is great, and Ginger, the protagonist, seems cute. That's it, I can't think of anything else.
The premise and the beginning of the story are fine, I became quickly interested because it's honestly a quite unique setting, since Lerazie doesn't seem like a typical, purely evil antagonist from most of the fantasy romance manhwas, and actually has her own thoughts and desires. Unfortunately, this is all ruined by Gigner's blatant, forced idiocy.

If Ginger were a "clumsy, slightly airheaded girl, like someone described her, this would be readable. However, she's instead an irredeemable cretin, and reading her thoughts makes me feel like I'm losing brain cells.
She's a prime example of a forcibly stupid protagonist. She can figure something out instantly, and then think "nah, can't be it", and completely forget about it until the conclusion of the whole thing. This pathetic practice of exposition by spoon-feeding readers information about the plot using protagonist's thoughts and then making the protagonist forget about it to make it seem like they're a "clumsy, slightly airheaded girl, is a terrible practice that pretty much became a trend for manhwa authors. I could bear with it if it appeared only occasionally, but it's used literally every time something happens. Ginger always figures everything out instantly, and then instantly dismisses it, completely forgetting about it. What is this supposed to be, turning into a temporary genius combined with short-term memory loss? Not every protagonist has to be a genius, but even stupid characters have to be written well, which she's quite obviously not.

I give the series props for a complete ending, but it was all just so-so. I like that a novel was used in a way that wasn't transmigration, but the mystery behind it was resolved so early and it became irrelevant so quickly that the intrigue it offered was only gimmicky. I never would have finished this mediocre series if I couldn't binge read it. The art was good!

3 pages in and Ginger is blaming the women for her weak ass fiance's cheating? Really, author? What century is this?

Liragie or whatever is actually right. You don't need scum like that but noooo you still gave him an ultimatum on choosing Lilu or YOU after everything he's done?!?!!?? Why would you want unrecyclable trash stinking up your world?!?!? Baby girl, grow some self worth.

Surprisingly Light Story

Honestly I actually thought this manhwa would have some hidden heavy plot going on, but there's no such thing.
The secret of the Curse, while it's not exactly 'easy' to solve, it's also not 'hard' either.

Our ML is Adorable! Seriously, he's no Yandere nor Tsundere. He LOVES teasing MC, but he also easily Flustered by MC's bold pervertness. His character and personality make sense with his background and the past he had been through.
MC is Bold, Silly, Cute, but not annoying. Classic Silly but Charming Female Protagonist, but also a Likable one. She's not Perfect and she didn't hide that. She made mistake, she it that and apologize. She's really good without being Badass, Smart or Powerful!
The 2nd ML... A very Good person. I wish he get his Perfect Happiness...

Anyway the Art is Wonderful. The story is Enjoyable to read. And I'm LOVING IT!

Love the MC, original premise, and pretty art

I love me a blunt but not mean, hot headed but not violent, bull headed but not stupid, cursing MC. I also like that she's not made out to be a genius, but is clever in her own way. Her temper and reactions are hilarious and relatable, and I finished the first 20 chapters in just a couple of hours. I don't understand other's complaints that she isn't a true "villainess" because I never got the sense from the story that she is trying to pretend to be a villainess in the first place.

The worst thing she does (which isn't even slightly egregious) is pretending to sleep with the King to get out of her engagement, but that was after being cheated on by her fiance AND the fiance's father refusing to end the engagement. Girl was semi desperate. And her attempting to use said fiance before seeking to end the engagement was perfectly justified if he was cheating on her.

Regarding the story itself, it's a refreshing break from the saturated Isekai genre. Instead, the MC gets a look into the future through a book. Additionally the romance between her and the King isn't the typical, played-out "the ML is cold to/misunderstood by everyone except the FL". Instead, the ML is mischievous and flirtatious almost from the get-go. Their dynamic is fun and entertaining in the beginning.
However, the love triangle is a headache.

Also, once the curse is broken, the next handful of chapters are just a constant loop of the same cheesy lines. The repetitive jokes and unnecessary misunderstanding gets tedious, and they should have just wrapped up the story in a chapter and moved on to the side stories.
In the end though, I enjoyed it. It was a nice break from the other immature FLs and bland, unnecessarily rude MLs that are prevalent in other manhwa's (i.e. Adelaide). It's fun, just don't read to far into it.

I got hooked up onto this manhwa easily and was expecting a nice, breezy, lightweight piece of fluff, but I got a repetitive, boring, uninteresting manhwa in the end. Ginger was an uneven character who tries to sell herself as a lewd and greedy woman (which actually pushed me to read this manhwa), but she's just a same bland plucky shojo FM, just with very faint elements of being a bit more "cruge" than the rest of them. But make no mistake, Ginger is blah as porridge, with little development and such a wasted potential. Izana is boring as heck. The story doesn't hold up and drags soo much in the middle. The antagonist is a terrible, thin character with no personality. Overall, totally a skip!

Great art and likeable main characters

There are many cringey moments and second hand embarrassment, but the art is consistent and pretty while the relationship between the MCs progressed at a convincing rate. The way the FL is a touch too crass for a noble lady is what detracts from the story a bit. And the villain(s?) slash the plot driver was a little frustrating in that there’s some toggle between are they truly malicious or just a result of their past/some incident. I dunno. Just didn’t help the overall story this those bits. Otherwise, when the focus is on the interactions between the FL and ML, it’s funny and sweet. Highly enjoyable.

Funny, light hearted and refreshing

The female lead is fun with her silly antics and unexpected thought process.

Good to a fun afternoon. The mystery/plot is a bit silly, but the series is still fun. What the series excels at is the interaction between the characters, especially the leads.

They are very cute and sometimes sexy.

Art is good, 8.5/10
