I'm going to say something that might seem stupid, but this isn't your usual school violence/revenge comic... this is a superhero title.
We've seen those action comics before, wherein people get beaten to crap by 10 dudes with metal bars and recover after a stint in hospital with no lasting injuries, where people go into fights with screwdrivers, knives and yet nobody dies (unless the plot demands it). This is kind of like that, only, the MC is the One Punch Man of Korean high schools and the main villain also has a hidden power... but I won't give that away.
The writing at the beginning of this title is awesome - it sets the tone of being completely unbelievable so that you'll not question the mayhem, it's faster than furious, and establishes a lore so awesome, you'll likely wish this had been a sequel! The pace continues at this break-neck speed until, at some point, it kind of feels like it's going in circles and loses a bit of its shine because of it. Next is to factor in the MC being so ridiculously OP and the problem all those invincible leads' titles have begins to surface: a lack of tension due to no real threat.
Luckily, this one turns it around and does all wrap up nicely, but not before some truly abysmal translation work turns everyone into ghetto trash, really testing your patience. I was tempted to vote this down a bit more for that, but it's not the creative team's fault some arse-clown spoiled their work with "bitch ass" fake gangsta trash talk.
Overall, I'd definitely recommend this to fans of the genre... I just hope there's a different translation floating around for the later chapters to be found.
