“Sometimes we keep the sin in our lives well protected, guarded, covered over with lies. Sometimes we are not free enough to own our sin, so we cannot be healed of it. An unacknowledged wound cannot be healed.”

He tried to run away from his past and start anew. He wanted to live the life of a human than a beast. He even succeed for 20 years.
But, alas! His sown karma caught up to him, even affected all those who were affected to him by karma.
Some were lost in the process of reaping and at he acknowledged his sins.

It's a well written small story. A story of a man who tried to live as a good person after his dark past, a merry family, some good acquaintances and a mentally unstable person who is up to take revenge.
Recommended to everyone who is looking for a good read.

This webtoon sucked me right into its world of hitmen, conspiracies, and the excitement of a double life. The author ingeniously weaves humor into the violence, as well as plenty of intriguing mysteries left for the readers to chew on. The summary this website gives is pretty bad, so let me sum it up for ya.

Our main character currently owns and works at a ramen shop called Killer Stall, implying that his noodles are so delicious that people would die from the heavenly taste. At age 40?, he is often made fun of by stupid teenagers who eat at his shop. They taunt him for his muscular body and "cowardly" demeanor, but they do not know his history. This guy here is a retired hitman. He wants to redeem himself and chose to leave the world of violence and cold-blooded murders. Unfortunately, his past still haunts him, and those he had hurt before seek to avenge for the scars he had given them. And so his double life begins again; ironically, he must do so with cops as his regular customers.

I personally loved the whole thing all the way through, but just really felt bad for any of the main cast that died. The villain is a cruel and twisted bastard seeking revenge, which may not seem all that original. However, his tactics for taking down the main character are horrifyingly original, and I honestly did not anticipate the grotesque scenes. (this is a compliment)

This webtoon really epitomized the saying, "what goes around, comes around." shiver

I was searching a story about a hiden past, that the reader (I) wouldn't know, but in the few first chapters the past of the MC is told. I was not expecting this, it gave more to the story that I thought it would, the plot is well thought and the story flows like it should. Knowing the MC past create a link between the reader and the characters, it makes us understand his choices and the dynamic between the family is just lovely. Plus, we wish the best of the characters, and even when it all start to F@¤¬K we wish for an happy ending and the best for Choo (mc).

For every who write comments about how cliches and stereotypes some stories can be, maybe one would like to know what cliche you have pointed out.It is easy to leave review saying just that and past to the next one, suprise some s leave almost the same review for several stories. I did not see any cliche and this story did not falls into deep stereotypes.

The art is just awsome and the nomber of chapters is just enough to had a good flow. Some might think it is short, leaving few times to develop the characters, but I prefer a well thought story over a dragging slow paced story. Besides in 53 chapters everything had be done, said and developed.

The plot description seemed interesting, but it wasn't that good. Manhunt0r was mostly right when he said the plot has "bad cliches and the most poorly written plot." I really didn't like the villain because he wasn't a really thought out; he was just crazy.

The character development was really poor. I didn't have any feelings for the characters in the manhwa because there wasn't much character development for them. The author should have made more chapters between the family first instead of going right into the revenge plot.

Overall, the manhwa was decent enough where I wanted to know the outcome of the story.
I gave this manhwa a 6/10 because it was decent enough for me to finish it. Most of the time I just drop them if it wasn't interesting enough.

good art.
dumbest gathering of bad cliches and the most poorly written plot i have seen in years - frigging valvrave is a grand intellectual achievement in comparison.
would have benefited a lot from blank speech bubbles, i alternated between face palming and laughing to tears during the plot development segments and tweests™. "mangaka" should just keep drawing porn or at least be under a half decent writer.

the art and the plot are extremely good. the story-telling so far has really caught my attention and i've read it(=the chapters that have been translated so far) in a day. however, i can't help but critisize some ideas that are projected in the series. as a Christian, I have to say that all people deserve second chances when they have genuinely regretted their wrong-doings. Choo was a killer but wanted to start anew and become a respectable citizen. I don't think that this dream that he struggled to make true was an arrogant thing on his part. And that's reason enough for me to think that the true villain here is this mentally ill kid, jiyong, who wants to ruin everything in choo's life. as you can see i got into this story to this point and, all in all, this manhwa is definitely worth your time.

A deep and rich story

I was first attracted by the thumbnail that said "Once upon a time, I was the f*cking boss." I expected your standard shallow action-filled manwha with a small ammount of humor and not much in the way of story. Killer Stall was the opposite of all that. It never slips into any stereorypes or cliches, and the characters aren't shallow at all. Whether it be mild-mannered former hitman Choo or crazed serial killer Jack, the characters are all deep and well thought out. I strongly suggest picking this up if you find yourself growing tired of generic action titles.

The plot is very carefully crafted. From the main character's past, one knows it won't end up good for him, but you can't help but cheer for the best for him. "What comes around goes around" seems to be where the plot is centered, but it might be too early to tell. In general, this is a very good series and a very nice read.
