Regret. That’s all I feel after reading this. All I could say is that I definitely regret reading this and it's definitely not for me. Too much angst, and as the title suggests, "revenge." The entire plot revolves around revenge—one after another. It was already satisfying when the main character got her revenge, but then her ex-husband had the audacity to seek his own revenge. It’s utterly messed up. It would’ve been fine if the author had stopped there, but no, they had to go the extra mile by delving into the backstories and futures of the other characters.

Sure, it’s a good trait for an author to flesh out their characters, but the tangled, messy relationships and overly complicated plot just became unbearable. It’s exactly what you’d expect from something tagged as NTR—full of angst. But honestly, making her ex succeed in life again, as if he won the lottery? That’s ridiculously over the top.

The story should have ended at the wedding. That was already a happy ending for the main characters. Instead, the author felt the need to justify themselves by adding even more drama and trying to tie everything into a picture-perfect ending.

If you’re into angst, then by all means, go ahead and read this. But if you’re not, save yourself the trouble and steer clear. Trust me—you’ll thank yourself later.
