Honestly, I shouldn't rate this that badly. The two main characters (with one pretending to be two sides of a love triangle? lmao) are pretty good, and it's relatively inventive. Honestly, with the 'ghost' aspect, and romance, I should like this.
Too bad the first major arc, after the most basic prologue, in chapter 2 on, is the most ridiculous example of a stupid male MC doing stupid things for no reason. The MMC has a 'girlfriend' (the 'ghost' who's actually his classmate's astral projection), which is against school rules, and yet blabs about it in school. Let's be clear: it's against the rules, and he brings it up. Then in order to 'defend himself' he challenges the first ranked girl in their grade to a grade-showoff, and he'll break up with his girlfriend if he loses the bet. So not only does he get their relationship in trouble for no reason, he then wagers his girlfriend in a contest, and then that contest is one which he essentially has no chance of winning, AND THEN we have to ignore the fact that this contest doesn't actually mean anything. Whether he wins or loses the bet, dating is still against the rules.
Obviously, it's played for laughs because the rule-abiding girl is actually his GF, though he doesn't know it, and she's trapped by the rules too, so this is supposed to be funny? The entire situation came about because the MC is stupid, and does stupid things with the relationship that one should never do, then spends a ton of time angst-ing about how stupid he is, and he's afraid that he'll look like a coward (he does) and a idiot (he does).
Frankly I want to like this because of the art, setting, and genres involve, but the male absolutely just killed this manga for me. Can't continue beyond this nonsense.
