Hey there, having a bit of a dilemma. It's weird, but I can't decide which anime to watch. I've narrowed it down to 2 series, but I just can't choose. Can someone tell me what to watch. 376y2w

My options are "Maria Watches Over Us" or "Witch Hunter Robin". Please, someone help me, it's driving me mad. Thanks.

I've never seen "Witch Hunter Robin", but I couldn't stay awake through any one episode of "Maria Watches Over Us" - I wasn't bored, really, just something about it put me right to sleep. 🤣

Yeah, there's just something about "Maria Watches Over Us", it's not boring, but there's definitely something. But I've seen some of "Witch Hunter Robin" and it was pretty good, but I've also seen some of "Maria Watches Over Us" and liked it, so I don't know what to do

Why can't you watch both?

Just wondering,
Pika.

well, I could, but not really at the same time. I intend to watch both, but I can't decide which one to do first.

My opinion is that the time you're currently wasting here, gathering the insight of somewhat random internet dwellers, is time you could be wasting watching both anime series.

Unless, of course, your dilemma is a matter of money. To which I would say, watch Witch Hunter Robin and read Maria Watches Over Us at Baka Tsuki.

Maria-sama ga Miteru is based on a 38 volume ongoing light novel and I imagine the animation won't give you any kind of conclusive ending. Witch Hunter Robin is not an adaption of any kind, but an original animation created by Sunrise.

The answer of what to watch should be blindingly obvious.

Well, I think Badkarma's opinion is best. I could have spent the time watching both. There's no monetary dilemma, I actually have both series, just haven't watched them yet. But I've been reading Maria Watches Over Us at Baka Tsuki, I just wished they'd translate more of them.

So I guess it's decided, I'm gonna start watching Witch Hunter Robin, fly through it as fast as I can, and then watch Maria Watches Over Us. Thanks for the advice everyone, and thanks for the sort of kick in the head Badkarma, I needed that.
