Do you guys like the coutry you live? 606t3k
I mean, it´s hard to know every aspect of, but every country has it´s own peculiarities
For exemple, Brazil, my country, has many good things, like openhearted people, good job oportunities, a lot of natural beauties and so...
But it also sucks in other things, like, it´s safety is terrible, imported goods are far more expensive than in most parts of the world (we have the most expensive iPod), and it´s politicians are almost as bad as italian ones (no ofense, italians XD)
In general, I would say I like it, but if I had the chance, I would´t mind moving to Japan for some years (maybe even for life)
What about you guys?

Yes, but I'm not so lovey-dovey with the people who are running it though.

Its complicated for me. See, I'm from Singapore. its a great country and all - uber public transportation, technology's every where, its really clean etc. But when you get older, you learn about all the government crap. You can't really get rich coz they just wanna suck it all up. And it REALLY REALLY sucks when you're a male and you get older coz theres national service. I migrated to australia when i was 13, but im still obligated to do it coz im still a singaporean citizen. I had to extend my port and they didnt let me leave coz apparently i committed a crime by not ing at 16....and i left at 13. They made up crap even though i told them my reasons and still i got punished (fined, put in a holding cell for like 20 mins). they didnt let me fly back for a week and i came to school late -_-. So yeah...i dont like my country MUCH.
Now i live in Victoria Australia. It's a good country and all...but technology's a little outdated here. And they can get very...snobbish(?) For example, we're in a drought and theres an option for new water(which is recycled water....and by that i mean recycled from human waste). Now, Ive tasted, showered in new water, but i aint dying. They're like, "EEEEW, I DONT WANNA DRINK MY ****!" like little children.
So overall...i dont really like where i live 😃

I'm originally from Lithuania and I don't like it much because it's a small dull country that houses a dull and provincial nation.
But right now I live in my mother's homeland Russia. And although this is, of course, a great country with a fascinating history, rich culture and a so-called "mystery of a Russian soul", it's a country which, in its current state, is not too wonderful of a place to live in.
Hence, I don't harbour any kind of patriotic feelings towards neither of the abovementioned countries.
I do like and treasure the people around me though. And good people will make you feel at home even in a shitty corrupted post-communistic bureaucratic dump.

Pah!, You have not been to China. I went to a city called Lanzhou on my trip....let's just say it's so polluted that the sky is literally GRAY. I am not kidding.
First I had a fever, then a stomach ache, then nose bleed, and finally a lung problem.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lanzhou
"Lanzhou is said to be one of the most polluted cities in China, if not around the world. The air quality is so poor that at times one can not see Lanshan, the mountain rising straight up along the south side of the city. The city is located in a narrow river valley with an unfortunate curve causing it to be hemmed in with no free air flow. Lanzhou is also the home of many factories including petroleum processing, and suffers from large dust storms kicked up from the Gobi Desert, especially in the winter and spring."-Wikipedia
The good thing about it is I visited Bingling Temple. 😀
As far as my small travel experience can tell, U.S.A. is the best place to live. 😀 😀

Our country's got everything: lots of $$$, good jobs, and even if our political system's not perfect, it hobbles along. The only thing that's bad about America is that people are kind of used to the cushy life and therefore don't really appreciate what we've got.

The only thing I didn´t like about America was the fact the peolple wasn´t pressing the government enough to force a change on the environment policy
Fortunately, this seems to be changing
As for the war, well, war sucks whatever the reason, but at least it has some good objectives, even though I think it has not been progressing well... NOT AT ALL!!!
No way to end it quick and spare the civilians from more civil war, I guess... TT_TT

I was born in Russia. I left to USA when i was 9 . Im 17 now. From what i it was bad where i lived. I lived in Siberia in a city Novocibirsk and well from what i me and my friends always found used condoms on the ground 🤢 and also you would often see kids age 7 - 12 or so with a bag of yellow glue that they were inhaling. and you would also find used nedels on the groound from time to time. Me and my friends were also attacked ones by some 20 year old ass holes. they put a gun to my head and when my friend tryed to run they shot his leg and ran away.... So yeh alot of good memories there... There were positive things but i cant them atm 🙁 . But yeh when i came to USA is was so much more different... Hot all the time everything was cleaner ( Exept the Air... if you ever fly over California, Los Angeles .... no those are not clouds clouds are white not green / grey. )

Compared to OTHER countries environmental policies, America's environmental policies are quite good.

Well...in some ways..thats a myth. Singapore isn't like the Truman Show you know...so as long as you don't chew gum or spit gum on the floor, you're not in trouble 😃 . Make sense right? People always make fun of that law coz they think its insignificant, but think about it. Have you sat or stepped on gum before? or have you seen what happens to gum thats been stuck on a surface after some time? Its unsightly and disgusting thus the law.
