if you take out all the mahou shoujo's thing, zombies suddenly attack then MC finds & forms a group to band together to escape wouldn't this manga be pretty much like the high school of the dead manga??

u can't take out the mahou shoujo part since it's an integral part to this manga

and even if you do take that out, it will still be totally different since the characteristics of the zombies are way too different

the similar part is only survivor grouping fighting against insurmountable odds, which almost all survival manga has

Well the same point could be made about high school of the dead if you remove the zombies and add something else like some mutated thingies, thinking like that really wont get anyone anywhere and can be done to a vast amount of manga/anime.
