no.
i don't care if they are famous or not.
they are just normal ordinary people.
and with my limited TV knowledge, it is a little hard for me to recognize them.

You guys are lucky around where I live there are no celebrities...I've met other celebrities but they're mostly Latinos like Shakira, Daddy Yankee, Luis Fonsi, Marc Anthony the list goes on...
I did see Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddy Prince Jr, one day at a local cafe, they were really nice they let me and my friends sit with time for a few minutes.
I met players from the Washington Redskins in Middle School. 2 of the ones I didn't know. Got an autograph but I lost it.

Only in seeing them at cons. Like:
Nathan Fillion (Mal from Firefly) was checking into the hotel in front of me. (I was polite and didn't bother him.)
And then there are the s where you can interact some.
e.g. Vic Mignogna sneak-peeked the first few episodes of Ouran HS Host Club at Dragon*Con last year. (The same weekend it was sneak-peeked at 2 other cons also.) That was SOOO much fun. He sang the end theme too, since he wrote the lyrics for it.
Oh, and I was standing next to Saved By The Bell's Lark Voorhies in the train when she was on her way to the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Opening Ceremonies, though I didn't recognize her- the guy next to me was drooling and said something to her, so I asked him about her after she left since it was evident she didn't want to be bothered.
If you've ever thought or said "Nice Guys finish last" and really meant it, then you should probably read this LJ post by DivaLion. It's incredibly insightful whether you're male or female.

Mostly just people in the comics industry, like;
Bryan Talbot (legendary 2000AD artist), Steve Niles (modern-day horror legend, 30 Days of Night), Leah Moore (daughter of comics luminary Alan Moore, the creator of Watchmen, V For Vendetta and more) and her husband John Reppion, Neil Gaiman (re-known creator of Sandman, and the novels Neverwhere, Stardust, Anansi Boys).
I've also met my country's Taoiseach (the Irish equivelant of a President) when he visited my granfather's sports shop I used to work in.
That's it really. No-one famous really visits Ireland, so there.
On a slightly related note, I once won an art competition, and the prize was a copy of the Art of Cars book (the Pixar film), and it's signed by head of Pixar John Lasseter, among some other people.
Oh, and I've talked with the creator of the BAFTA award-winning video game series MediEvil, Jason Armstrong through email before, that was cool.

I haven't met anyone famous but as many people have said, I wouldn't know it even if I did. My friend though has met Paul Simon. Met is kinda an understatement though. He watched Heroes with him and stayed at one of his houses for a week. He showed me proof. He's also friends with his daughter, which is how he met Paul Simon in the first place. Quite cool.
EDIT: Oh wait. I met my state's House Representative. That should count as famous I guess. He was a pretty cool guy.

Tim Allen, Jerry Springer, Madona, Kid Rock, John Travolta, and a few regional band . They've got houses in the general area of my town (excluding John Travolta). (although quite a few miles away from the general population of course.)
and then there's the owner of the pistons, lions, and redwings (i've got a picture of myself with the stanley cup), the guy who owned pelican light co, the previous owners of 4 wins boats, one of the big shots at Gordon's Food Services, his son Doug LaBelle Jr. (pro golfer), a few state representatives, and a few others I cant think of atm.

Nope, not that I can .
I have a fair number of family /connections who are well known in certain circles, but not really famous.

Does Pamela Anderson count as famous?
I'm not sure which show she was on at the time, but they were using the back of our campus (wilson high, in long beach), to shoot a motorcycle riding scene.
I didn't really know who she was, but a bunch of guys in the class looked like they were about to go into labor when they saw her.
And when I was visiting a cousin on her campus (Polytechnic High), they were shooting this one Disney thing w/ Shia Laboeuf (however you spell his name). My cousin met him; she said he wasn't very nice.
I haven't met, but I've spotted the guy who plays Hiro in Heroes too.
