An official dark mode is now available! On mobile, you access the option via the hamburger menu button. On desktop, it's at the bottom of the left sidebar. Don't be scared too much by the banner. 64544q

The modernization of our code last month finally enabled us to do some changes we've been wanting to do. We eventually want to reskin the entire site, but that's low in priority right now. We will try and allow an option to keep the current look and feel of the site.

I usually don't use dark mode, but I tried it and it looks really cool! I think it's a really nice addition!

Also, I'm glad to hear you'll try to allow an option to keep the current look when you will reskin the website. It's really thoughtful of you, since many of us are attached to this layout and design.

Thanks! I was surprised when I suddenly got the dark mode yesterday.j I think I still need to get used to it, since we've all been using the "light mode" for years. But I was glad though.

I'm sure I'll get used to it, but the orange is brighter than before. (used to be #db9b4f)

Thanks for adding this. Just picked up a new OLED TV on Saturday to use for a PC monitor and for gaming, and having the option of a dark mode is much appreciated for the health of the display.

Love the dark mode option! If I can offer any , my only thought is the color palette doesn't feel like it fits the OG mangaupdates.conexionsite.com aesthetic. Are the colors still in that blue-grey palette? They look very grey, without a hint of the blue in it to me (it could really just be me going crazy though)

We do plan to reskin the website at some point and we'll need the community to help us out there. If you have any suggestions on how to improve the current color palette, please let me know.
