I'm a vet student and totally devoted to animals so at least an understanding of my desire to fill my house with animals is a necessity. Being able to hold a conversation, a modicm of intellect and trust are also essential. I plan to make my own money so I don't need a rich partner but won't tolerate him sponging off me so some ambition it also a must. Loyalty also needed and of course I must find him physically attractive but don't really care if no one else does. Of course my ideal guy would be drop dead gorgeous and either spanish or Italian in heritage. The guy must be tall enough for me to lean my head on his shoulder, not too tall or too small.

The pen is mightier than the sword...and considerably easier to write with.

I'm not going to be picky, and since this is a poll, I'm going to pick Loyalty. Even if they don't have the rest, that'd be the one. Someone that will put up with everything and anything I do (and vice versa) and will never leave me. There's nothing better than having the security of always having someone there for you always.

My ultimate guy would be very intelligent, but not arrogant as a result. This is very difficult to find. I know; I try all the time.

I don't really have anything else specific. There are definitely some no-no's, though. Close-mindedness and heavy religious beliefs are things I can't deal with. I don't mind religion, but it's something I don't want in my life, so obviously I don't want any significant other involving me in it.

I chose loyalty, too. Because without trust, you can't have love. Loyalty is quite a big ask for a guy.. especially after say, 20 years of marriage. It's so easy to get bored of each other and just succumb to cheating. So if he's still loyal through thick and thin, you know you have a keeper. 😀

I know it might not be a choice for many but for me, the choice I was looking for is someone who loves me or rather one who is capable of loving someone else...I have seen many people in the world with qualities that I would like but the feeling was never mutual.. so above all, I am looking for that, but maybe on teh first impression, its kindness to people, tolerance and understanding...in other sense, not an immature person..and neither too overtly mature person..damn, I think like a woman..
