Hi. I'm looking for some good manga about soccer. After reading Whistle!, I've become a fan of the sport. Can anyone recommend a good one for me? Preferably something that involves individual(s) attaining victory/success through hard work, training, and dedication. Thanks a lot. 63386e
None of those have a main character that is like the guy in Whistle though, they have more or less already developed skills òÖ

i believe a good one was uwasa no midori-kun!!. It's got a good sports element, but the main theme is your basic shoujo revenge plot.

that's exactly what I was thinking! Uwasa no Midori-kun is pretty shojo, but it has good art and does have a storyline. Get Love!! by the same author (Ikeyamada Go) also deals with soccer.

Being a sports frantic, I liked to read Slam Dunk but The captain Tsubasa Series are pretty good. The anime I love is Major.
