The comments seem to all be really positive, and the summary interests me, but I realised that it was done by Hino Matsuri, so, my question is... 6vb6n

Is this series similar to VK?

Thanks. 😀

the art's similar, obviously. but no, i don't think merupuri and vampire knight are similar.maybe at times they are, but i find merupuri much interesting. [i actually like it more than VK 🙂 ]
*if you liked VK i don't think you'll have a hard time liking merupuri as well.

I agree with Yenoh. I read MeruPuri first and liked it a lot. That's why I picked up Vampire Knight. If you like Hino-sensei's art and story-telling, you'll probably enjoy MeruPuri also.

MeruPuri is completely different from Vampire Knight in of character and story.

It's a lot more cutesy with more humor. VK leans towards the darker side, though both are loaded with romantic interactions/situations.
