I this idea being used somewhere, but I can't if it was from a movie, manga, book, TV show, or what and doing a search isn't giving me results even close to it, so I'm hoping someone here can tell me where this is from. 1kz5z

What I specifically is a woman saying to the main character that her husband/lover gave her a star as a gift. The main character later finds the star and sees that it is an actual star taken from the sky. I'm pretty sure it was small enough to fit in their hands.

As far as anything else I , I think the woman was the main character's mother, and I think the main character was a female. At the time when the main character finds the star, I think she's able to hold it in her hands, but it's "floating" so she's not actually touching it. I could be wrong about these, but I am absolutely certain about a star taken from the sky being given to the woman.
